Friendly service even when busy, good coffee and amazing cakes recommend the rhubarb/pear tart. Outside and bicycle friendly seating.
Arrived at 1.30pm on Sunday to find only laksa and couple of over-priced tarts left. Was not greeted on arrival, cleared our own table, left waiting at the counter to order coffee only to have coffee order promptly forgotten. Wouldn't have minded had the woman managing not been quite so rude. Do not recommend.
On a Sunday breakfast until 11.30 or 12 which looked amazing. We had the salad with meat salad and my partner has the curry. Both were unreal! Will definitely be going back
My partner and I had a quick pit stop in the early morning at the Lotus Eaters cafe. I had a short black and a sweet pastry to complement. The crema and flavour reminded me of the coffee I had while in Venice a couple of months ago. My partner had one of their milkshakes that was home made vanilla bean ice cream that had been boiled for 6 hours with the vanilla beans and then frozen. These guys have set the bar at a whole new level.
Have eaten here over a number of years and have always enjoyed the experience. Good food & good value. Sadly it was a disappointing experience today. Limited menu and some meals over priced. Given past experiences will allow for today's disappointment and will try again before Christmas.
Good food at a good price. Very quaint Cafe which sells locally sourced food. Vegetarian and vegan specialities. Laid back vibe. Doesn't open in the evenings and specialises in breakfast and lunch for the visitor and local alike. Tiny seating area inside and rustic outside if it's not too cold.
Really really cold in there. Breakfast pizza was super duper bad. It shouldn't have left the kitchen. Waaaay too much cheese. Person I was with had a "panini" which wasn't a panini but flat bread. it tasted ok despite it not being a panini .
The food was very good, though the presentation was a bit over the top. The staff were a little rushed but I suspect this was just due to it being busy with the markets being on. The indoor space is very cramped with small tables, but it is still workable. An enjoyable meal.
We love visiting for coffee and cake on the weekend. Have taken many friends and family there, visiting from out of state, and have never been disappointed with the service of food!
Love this cafe, especially nice to sit outside on a sunny day. Small but changing lunch menu. The cafe is small and can get quite busy at times
