Situated in the route of Great Ocean Road is a beautiful, spectacular beach. Cool breezes of wind, rolling ocean waves, and soft & warm sand make it difficult to leave the site and make your stay longer. Good for surfing, swimming or walking in the sand.
Good experience. If you are travelling for hours then this could be the best resting place before moving towards the Apollo bay, port Campbell or further. We hired a 2 bedroom apartment at the great ocean road resort and it made our stay really beautiful.
It’s 1.5 hours away from our place, the drive itself is amazing via great ocean roads. But its zigzag. So make sure who ever is driving is properly rested. The views at the beach are stunning. Ample of food options, but public bathrooms and toilets not so good. It was really crowded, as we went on 1st Jan , since the beach os huge, so social distance was easy to maintain. Over all good experience. You can do bbq there too.
Very popular among who take the road trip on great ocean road. Great place surfers. There is a big surfing club and many resent the beach. Great place for a outdoor day with family.
An immaculately clean and beautiful beach surrounded by bright blue sea on one and shops on the other side, connecting onwards to the pier. An eye pleaser, and a must visit for all the first timers.
Great beach with a well protected, life saver patrolled section at the western end of the beach. Parking can be a major problem on hot days. Very popular beach for dog walking.
A scenic drive till the beach. Nice and clean bean with all facilities nearby including shower area and changing areas. A small park on the way to make sure kids have other things to play around. Would suggest to get your own food if you are not a pizza or fish and chips fan as there are limited options available.
Ideal beach more popular for surfing.Too crowded on weekends, had to wait for parking space.
A quiet beach in a small town with a lot of good restaurants and establishments. A nice place to take a break after a long drive.
One of the best beaches along the Great Ocean Road. Very touristy so plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops to spoil yourself Clean toilets & showers close to the beach. Very popular with locals and tourists so expect a huge crowd on weekends and holidays.. Parking usually packed but spots do open up if you drive along a bit. Despite the crowds, i prefer to stop here rather than other beaches along the Great Ocean Road that have fewer cafes and not-so-clean toilets!
