Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hostel, welcoming environment from the start of my stay, right through till the end. Stayed a fair amount longer than intended due to the good time had. Great staff, good facilities, at a decent price. And the location is quite central with all the possible transport options at a small walks distance, shops and other such fineries within close proximity. The atmosphere in the hostel was one I've not encountered all that often in my travels, but was most certainly welcomed, and will be sorely missed along with the excellent people I've met in my time at Lords Lodge. Would recommend to anyone looking for a long term stay, or just a short burst in this wonderful city.
This fabulous place is expressed as a home away from home by many. Open fire with open arms, Patrick the owner is always happy to help you. While the people that live here treat others as they like to be. Hot showers, shared kitchen, free Sangria on a Saturday with an open fire in winter. Come and join the party!
I had an awesome time at this place. It's right in the heart of the city and being there never gets boring. People are very open and there's always someone to talk to. The best place to make new friends in Australia!
Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Fun games night on Thursdays and free sangria on Saturdays. Comfortable beds, steaming hot showers, not noisy, free WiFi and free street parking wich can be hard to get.
Staying long term at the lodge and felt right at home on day one. Welcoming people and facilities are kept generally clean. Well equpped kitchen and nice TV room. Weekly sangria on Saturday nights gets everyone together at the end of the week.
A nice and small hostel, good unlimited wifi, clean kitchen and bathroom with hot showers. Lots of long term people but friendly and open vibe. You either like it here or not.
The nicest, friendliest and most generous hostel I've stayed in. The owner Pat is an eminently nice dude, and the private rooms are really good value, bar perhaps cleanliness. Homely as hell.
