Went here for lunch on a Monday as I had heard good things and was in the area. I got a 1/4 chicken and chips and wasn't disappointed. The chicken was cooked brilliantly and the chips were lovely as well. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend popping in here if you are in the mood for a good charcoal chicken.
Very friendly staff, and the chicken and hot chips are fantastic. We stuffed our faces with the family meal packs. Whole chicken, hot chips, 2 salads. The chicken was cooked beautifully, with a lovely charcoal flavour. The hot chips were crispy on the outside, with the soft fluffy potato goodness on the inside. The salads were a little average, but you don't make friends with salad... We had the pesto pasta salad and the potato salad. The price was reasonable, considering Sydney prices.. Parking: Street parking and a small parking lot at the back.
Brilliant food..... WHEN it's available. 5 times in a row I've come here now and they don't have any chicken burgers or wraps. Early too, like 5pm. They always say the same excuse.... Its been "flat out". Well if a shop is that busy that 5 times I've been there there's been no burger buns or wraps... Surely they should maybe order some more? Surely I'm just not that unlucky that's its just my 5 visits there's been no buns.
Not that great with customer service - on entry appeared to speak differently to a coloured person when compared to a brighter complexion. Hence 4 stars. The chicken however was good. No complaints on that front. So was the salad great. I like the quarter chicken option.
Staff are friendly and helpful. They start early and finish late and the chicken is delicious. Open 7 days a week and if you have got to wait well chips are made fresh.
The best Charcoal Chicken on the coast. Take away only but you can enjoy the lake views just down the road. I heartily recommend!Food: 5/5
Delicious food. The potato bake is incredibly good. Super friendly staff. Love this place
If I could leave no stars I would. Turned up at 7pm to a closed shop, staff out the back smoking, when I questioned being closed 30min early they responded "we've been cleaned out of chickens & chips", no apology, just a not my problem attitude.
Awesome customer service! While staying at a motel with no crockery or cutlery, the staff offered disposable ones for us. They even cut up our chicken as well. The chicken, salads and chips were delicious! Thanks for making life easier guys, and for a very yummy meal
