Brilliant place. Nice breeze flowing through a hot day. Relaxing and nice atmosphere. Good food with some healthy choice and last but not least, fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back here before a nice walk along Waikanai beach.
Stopped in for lunch after a morning exploring and the service and food was excellent. They were really busy but remained attentive and we enjoyed the pork belly and venison along with a nice local beer and Portuguese red wine.
Love this place! We go up there at least once a month from Wellington. We have never been disappointed. The outdoor are it is fantastic an such an nice place to go and relax. The chilli cheese fries are my favorite!
Great service and menu options. Don't expect a quick meal as dishes are made fresh and worth the wait. Dog's are allowed in the outside dining area.

Food was lovely in a nice environment. If the service was as good, I would rate higher. Our order not taken correctly and the music too loud inside. Room for improvements here.
Waited in a half empty Long Beach,3 or 4 staff floating around....for 15 minutes. Asked if we could be served, sure, we were told. For another almost 10 minutes staff all fluffed around at the counter, walked past us, looked at us. No service. Left after 25 minutes and went to Front Room. Great service there.
Excellent service, friendly staff. Heated outdoor seat.... So awesome. Lovely place to while away an afternoon with a drink.
