Awful. My garlic bread was burnt and flavourless. I ordered the ribs and chicken. $40 for 3 very average ribs. $40 gets you a full rack at most other restaurants. The chicken breast was meant to be grilled. It tasted like charcoal. And the beer was hot. Most of it went to waste. The chips were okay, I guess. Overall, a pretty shoddy experience.
Very disappointed, me and my boyfriend used to come here all the time and were so happy with the meal and the pricing, have been back 3 times now to give it another chance and each time it has been some of the worst food and service I've experienced. Service absolutely rubbish, we waited for about an hour for our food, then had to wait nearly 20 minutes in between because they brought our meals out at separate times, barely got a smile from the staff and then to top it off my food was bland , soaked in oil and just seemed like it had been sitting there. Really have tried to give this place so many chances since our first experiences were so nice but tonight was too much couldn't even get my drink or order right either . Will NOT be returning
Do yourself a Favour visit the HOGS BREATH instead. Food very disappointing. Had the garlic creamy sauce it was disgusting it tasted like nacho cheese sauce When I Informed the staff of how disgusting the sauce was I was told sorry I dont know what's in it as we don't make the sauce it's from a can. When spending $35+++ on steak canned sauce NOT good enough. Had to ask for service customer seated after us was served before us. We were placed in the corner and forgotten. We will not be back. Expensive and tasteless get better food at McDonald's and I don't even like McDonald's.
Pretty God awful. I really do not like wasting food or complaining in general but wow. This place is basically quantity over quality. The burger meat tastes like it was frozen and microwaved. The chips were the only redeeming thing about it. The rest of my company had similar viewpoints. Disappointing, a shame really.
My burger was watery flavourless thick squishy greasy. Not grilled looks like they are cooked in the oven or microwaved. My wife's steak was way to rare she's pregnant so can't have rare meat asked for medium well. Sister in laws ribs where flavour less and just pathetic Kids nuggets where rubbery prices of crap. Garlic bread was coldish... Another steak was flavourless and just overly bad. They missed off sauces we asked for. My Mrs steak they completely forgot to cook.... The baby seats are useless as they don't have a tables attacked nor do they slid under the table so my boys food ended up on the floor. We where the only ones in the restaurant at that stage..... We will never go back and urge people not too. I spend $70 and it was a waste of money. My tip go to hoggs breath over the road!!!
Being a steak restaurant I expected perfectly cooked steak, boy was I wrong!!!. I ordered medium rare, got a very thin, very rare, very small and cold piece of meat. As for the staff, I didn't see any one of them smile all night. Out of a table of eight only two said that theirs was cooked to their liking, a very disappointed night out
Had such high expectations for this place, was the worst $93 we've ever spent. Cheese on the garlic bread wasn't fully melted, had baking paper stuck to our ribs and my medium rare steak was rare, nearly a blue steak. Truly disapointed.
Ribs were terrible, the worst I've ever paid for. The rest of the food was mediocre and served almost room temperature. The customer service was about as personal as a stranger passing in the street, actually possibly worse as we felt like an annoyance.
Looked forward to a meal here as we had good memories of the old lonestar near Darlington. The staff were friendly enough although seemed a bit nervous. They ran out of chicken breast so I ordered beef ribs. I paid $34.95 for this, there were 3 ribs mostly fat. There was a red cabbage salad and the vinegar from this salad had run under the chips and made them soggy. A very very disappointing meal and we won’t be back, there are lots of restaurants in Glenelg where $34.95 will provide a much higher standard meal. We both felt sick after eating or trying to eat the fatty ribs. We both sent back most of the meal, and this was not questioned by the young man who gathered the plates.
Decided to try something different tonight . Had no idea what or where so drove around. Ribs came up on the phone so we headed to Glenelg . Ordered main courses as take-a-way . Although considered a little pricey i was not disappointed at all . Ribs were great , mash was yummy made with real butter . Would do it again !
