Was super busy, service was meh...... but the food was amazing. My wife and I shared the Lamborghini, my new fav. Highly recommend the food not so much the rest of the experience.Food: 5/5
Subaverage place for dining compared to all the other options available all around Hamilton. Quite surprised to see the place packed busy all night. Food is bad, staff lack fine detail, extremely long wait for the food to come out. Overall left with subaverage experience. Will be my last resort option.
I had a very good experience at lone Star when I visited. Wait times were very short at around 5 minutes at busy time with a reservation. The food was lovely and it was a bonus that they had boxes for any leftovers since it was so filling. This place also has very good service table and would come again. Parking: Parking may be difficult to find due to the small size of the parking lot
I was so disappointed with the service we received. Our waiter took our drink orders. Forgot one of our drinks. I had to ask at the bar for our drink, as our waiter was no where to be seen. Then we waited for our waiter to come take our orders, but he never came back . So once again I went back to the bar person and ask if we could order our meals . Finally our waiter came back and we ordered. Only to wait another hour for our food. We had to ask for cutlery as we never received any with our meals and once again back to the bar to ask for a jug of water. We spent over $300 to have such poor service.
So we dined in tonight. Had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for food. Talked to the table next to us and they were an hour. Spoke to them when we paid and the lady said she will look into it. What ever that means. Used to be a favourite but I think that’s us done.
Birthday dinner for family group of 8 adults. Waitress was amazing. Three steak meals undercooked, one needed to be sent back to be redone. One other meal was not what was ordered. Waitress apologized for the way the meals were presented. Male front of house manager couldn't care less when concerns were raised, only stating chef was new. Interestingly he took a phone call from a dissatisfied customer while taking our payments.
Had better vegetarian burgers from burger fuel. Probably won't be back anytime soon. Maybe educate your staff about dietary preferences too. When we asked for take home boxes for my kids dinners - one had ribs, the other had vege burger - no we don't want them packed in the same box Vegetarian options: Need to work on your recipe for the vege pattie vege burgerso it doesn't fall apart all on the plate. Was also very dry.
Wasn't overly happy with my meal which was a steak meal & supposed to be medium cooked. But was more rare with a slight crust on it. At no point did our waiter Reagan come check if our meals were OK. We did not have any salt & pepper at our table so I had to get up & steal some from another table myself, as our waiter was no where to be seen. We 2 of us had a large group next to us & our waiter & others were keen to see to their needs etc. Once that group left, we then had more of our waiters attention. But I wasn't impressed by the wait staff except the drinks lady was the only one that smiled at us all night. We've been to Lone Star for many years even when it was in the main street of Hamilton. My family of 5 are always happy and satisfied when we dine here. Food is always amazing and beautifully made. All staff are always friendly and helpful. Love this place, they never fail to please. Thanks Lonestar! Parking: Plenty of parking!
Lovely service from our waiter. Very busy. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing and not worth the money. Entrées were sub par. Weird smells from the salmon dish. Drinks were flat. Would definitely recommend going elsewhere or for the restaurant to revamp their menu.
