The venue is spacious and suitable for children under 3 years old. It features many play machines, but all activities require additional payments. Children over 3 years old have limited options, mainly just a few slides. My child only spent about 30 minutes there. I won't return, as the cost is high for such limited play options, and they expect extra payments for everything.
Just took the grandkids and the place looks amazing!! Apparently it's under new ownership and the difference is clear. It's clean & fresh & the food is soooo good. Looks like it's my new weekend with the grandkids hang out!!! PS and before you leave be sure to grab a quick massage you're going to need it after running after the kids having soooo much fun!!
Feedback was sent and I got 2 missed calls in the space of 10 minutes on a weekday during normal working hours and was told that they “tried to call multiple times” when I had requested they call back on a weekend they replied back to Andrew from HQ explaining that they tried to call and the situation of why the party was the way it was, instead of replying directly to me. I was told to call between 9:30-5 however when I had asked who I should be asking for, I’ve had no response. This was early December.nnAnyway ….. here was my review. Photos below of the “Deluxe Loot Bag” with the tiny toys including the spring … for a child … let alone a 1 year old.nnWe held my son’s 1st Birthday on Saturday morning at the Canberra venue. While I appreciated the last-minute availability, a number of significant issues made the experience far below the standard expected, especially considering the cost of the Super Package.nnTo begin with, we had organised and paid $50 for helium balloons, only to be told at the counter that they were not permitted due to the venue’s proximity to the airport. I completely understand the restriction; however, this information was not available anywhere prior to booking, nor is it noted in the Terms and Conditions. This should have been made clear before allowing customers to purchase this option.nnWe booked the Super Package specifically because it included a party host and after noticing the lack of food included in the standard package. Despite having two hosts, their involvement was minimal. They were only present during the food service, the tea cup ride, and briefly for the cake with only one host remaining by that point. There were no party games, no explanation of how the party would run, and very limited assistance with the catering. We were not even informed when the party pies and sausage rolls arrived, and when they did, the quantity was completely inadequate. For 12 children, we received only 5 party pies and 6 sausage rolls. The hot chips were half-cooked, and the nuggets were heavily oversalted.nnWe also did not receive party invitations in any form—neither PDF nor in-store—despite this being an inclusion.nnThe unisex toilets had no doors on the cubicles. This is unacceptable from both a privacy and safety standpoint.nnThe snacks provided—2 trays of Cheezels, 2 trays of popcorn, and 1 tray of snakes—were nowhere near enough for 12 children and clearly pre-packed the day before, given the oil stains on the cardboard trays and the stale chips.nnI had specifically requested that the party cat not attend due to the age of the children, and it had clearly been forgotten entirely until I reminded staff at reception on arrival. This shows a lack of attention to customer instructions.nnThe birthday child’s “Deluxe Loot Bag” was dangerously unsafe. It contained two tiny toys that posed a serious choking risk, including one with a loose spring that could easily be swallowed. This is completely unacceptable for a one-year-old and represents a serious oversight in safety. The additional items—unrelated stickers, a mini torch with a USB cord, and two lollipops—do nothing to justify labeling this bag as “deluxe.”nnI manage two of Canberra’s busiest entertainment venues, including an international one, so I understand that things can go wrong. However, the number of issues we encountered, combined with the lack of value for the $417 paid, left us feeling completely dissatisfied and frankly misled. The only positive aspect was that the children could continue playing afterward.nnIn view of the multiple issues experienced and the material difference between the services promised and those actually provided, I formally request that appropriate compensation be considered. Given the circumstances and the amount paid, I believe this constitutes a reasonable and justified claim for redress
We hosted our daughter’s 6th birthday party here for 16 kids and their parents, and out of all the venues we considered, this place truly stood out. It was clean, well-organised, and the team was incredibly friendly and accommodating.nnCeleste, one of the managers we first spoke with, made the booking process easy and really understood how special this celebration was for us. We chose the Ultimate package and added extra food for the adults, and honestly, everything exceeded our expectations on the day—just like we’d hoped after our initial visit.nnOn the day of the party, Stephanie welcomed us and made sure everything ran smoothly, taking care of all our requests. A big thank you as well to our amazing party hosts—Rebecca, Anthea, and Aarya—who helped create such a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.nnIt turned out to be a fantastic party, and all our guests had a great time. We’re really grateful to the whole team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Hope I’ve got everyone’s names right
