We stopped in here after attending Anzac Day services for a coffee break before heading onto the pub nearby. We were very well taken care one of by the staff there, who was very pleased to take care of some veterans. We will definitely be back again soon to try one of their delicious-looking pies! The scones we had today were excellent!
Great pies and pastries at reasonable prices compared with other places. The red headed staff member needs a little more patience and understanding with the elderly, as she seemed rather impatient for our elderly mum to make a decision. Our mum also has Alzheimers …not that you’re to know it, unless you were to have a conversation but it would’ve been 5 stars otherwise.
It’s a shame to older ladies treat the younger girl with such obvious contempt.nThey treated me with the same level of disdain because I politely asked about an allergen in one of their items.nThe baked goods are incredible, but the sour attitude of some staff taints the experience
I'm sorry guys but as much as I love patronising your shop this is the third time I've had to tell your staff there are maggot laden blow flies crawling over the food in the cabinets.nnA few months ago I found a long hair in my salad roll and the boss was good about giving me a refund and apologising but still no hair nets on the female staff and the cabinets are still being left open so of course the flies get in still, like today.nnThey've got some really great food products but with the flies crawling around on them...it's hit and miss of you get some maggots or a fly stuck in your custard donut.nnThis will be the last time I visit, and it's disappointing but necessary. There's only so many times you can point out to the staff the flies and keep getting ignored before you have to think about your own health and safety.nnUntil you guys get hair nets on your female staff, keep the flies out of the cabinets and take peoples complaints seriously....you just lost me and my family as a customer and I'll be warning people I know who ask about your shop to buy at their own risk.
What a gem of a bakery!! First time visit after taking our kids to the park. Brilliant and dare I say worth the drive from Crestmead!!nnAll pastries delicious and the atmosphere just took me back!! Staff friendly and although busy, still had time to have a talk with us
