I had the pleasure of having the best tour guide for 3 days, Sam Thomson, while in Melbourne. Knowledge of not only Melbourne, but areas around the globe were extensive. Traveling alone from the US, I was at ease the moment he picked me up and knew I had made an immediate friend. Being from the south I'm rarely at a loss for words, Sam can attest to that, but I can't say enough about his wisdom, kindness, heart of gold and passion for the work he does. Thank you my friend for sharing your time with me.
Our private walking and driving tour of Melbourne was awesome. Dan and Adam are quite the ambassadors for this beautiful growing city and they gave us a great overview of Melbourne’s history, culture and points of interest. We found the street art most interesting as well as the areas of urban renewal. We sampled a local coffee shop, bakery, chocolatier and had the grand tour of the culinary arts of Gelato Massina. It was great fun!
Amazing tour company! Definitely a great choice. We used it two days in a row to travel around Melbourne and too different places outside of the city. We got two tour guides which I can only remember the name of one, Luca. Both amazing people, prepared and ready to answer any type of questions!
The Localing guys, Dan and Dean really looked after me when I was first visiting Melbourne. They are incredible hosts with an encyclopaedic knowledge of their city and its history. Do these tours!
I did a leadership course with Chris from Localing Private Tours. From what I’ve seen so far, their product is one of a kind. We are looking to book an experience with these guys for our staff this year. I will update my post with my feedback soon.
Localing Private Tours provided us with a private guide, Luca, for three days along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. It was absolutely fantastic. Luca was so knowledgable, flexible, and accommodating and with a great sense of humor; and he is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish. We felt like our comfort, ease and having a great experience were always foremost in his mind. At the end of the three days, we felt like we had made a new friend. Highest recommendation without reservation!!
My husband and I recently spent a memorable day with Tess touring Mornington Peninsula and Yarra Valley. She was knowledgeable, engaging and a lot of fun. She geared the day's activities to what we wanted to do. Wonderful day!
My husband and I experienced an amazing day in Tasmania with Kirk. From the gorgeous views to learning about the history and uniqueness of this incredible place. No where on earth can you meet a Tasmanian Devil, hand feed a kangaroo, see breathtaking coastal views, smell fragrant lavender fields, and embrace a part of our world that has not been over touched. We had a wonderful day exploring the Yarra Valley with our tour guide Anna. She took us to two excellent wineries. We enjoyed a lovely lunch followed by a stop at a chocolate factory. Anna was very attentive to our desires of what we wanted to do for the day . We made a few adjustments to the original itinerary as we had all ready done one of the suggested stops. Anna has a very pleasant personality and I would definitely take another tour with her should I ever be back in Melbourne. Thank you Anna for a wonderful day.
