Loved our dinner here for a date night with my partner. Food was exceptional, staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The steak was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted amazing. The staff were also accommodating when we wanted to move tables to a quieter area, due to me being hard-of-hearing. We had such a nice night & definitely will be back when we are in Noosa again next year! Parking: Parking in Hastings Street is never easy. Better to catch Uber or get someone to drop you off.
Has to be one of the best restaurants in Noosa. During our 5 day stay we tried many restaurants. It was our Anniversary and my Birthday Dinner last night and we made the perfect choice! Ambience, food and drink selection was great. A big shout out to our waiter Anthony who made a great experience into a amazing experience.
Locale was a magnificent meal. We were early but seated quickly with a smile by chefs who had extensive knowledge about all the items of food and drinks they were serving. The cocktails here are some of the best I’ve ever had and are a good alternative to their large wine list that contains classics from around the world. The food was delicious and strayed from the standard repetitive Italian food that can be served elsewhere. There really was a great variety of flavours at this restaurant and highly recommend it for a great night out.
Decent quality food. As others have mentioned, the portion to value ratio is a little lacking. The manzo was a little smaller than usual, although decent quality. Would do some form of potatoes with it rather than cabbage. Good service, pretty decent vibe, and an amazing wine list!
This is the example of a passion turned into a business…a incredibly soft and comfortable atmosphere where even kids are at ease. The stuff is incredibly helpful and kind, the food is amazing and well presented with an immaginabile attention to the quality of the ingredients- apparently all locally sourced maybe the reason behind the name?. Absolutely to try, the price is not too high if you try it you’ll understand why….a must go if in Noosa Heads
Came for dinner on a busy Tuesday evening. And everything was excellent. From the service to the food. We had a selection of the small starters and for mains we had the gnocchi to die for and the Osso Bucco risotto. Equally as good. With a bottle of Chianti we could have been in Florence. Highly recommended.
We had a great night at locale , The food was delicious and so was the desserts. Just felt rushed because of the late booking and was told to have dessert at the bar as the table was already booked. We wouldn't have had that issue if the service and the food was slow . .
I don't normally put reviews up on Google, but I feel this is necessary. We have eaten at quite a few high end Italian restaurants before but I'm confident in saying Locale is the pick. Everything ticks the perfect box. Our table was quaint and outside, service impeccable, food unbelievable. I'm generally a very hard marker but I can't fault anything here. . Well done.and look forward to coming back...
Came here with my family. Ambiance is nice and quaint, a first time at a restaurant where you must control you child and take them outside if they cry. Ours are grown up so no issue but never had this at any Michelin restaurants in the world! Started was the prawns/bread and Burrata which was lovely. The Burrata probably our favourite. The prawns were unexpected, my fault for not clarifying but I expected the large prawns and not the small fried ones we got. Mains were the kids pasta small portions gnocchi and the chicken pollo. The mains were nice. The gnocchi didn’t taste much of goats cheese, the pollo was ok and my daughter rated it as a 6/10. Didn’t have a desert. Worth a visit, the food is good.
Food was delicious! Particularly the fish and the bread. Good wine, attentive service and nice vibe. Really enjoyed it.
