Just got back from the Barbershop Harmony Academy Australia national convention, and absolutely loved performing in Llewellyn Hall. The sound in this venue is magnificent - everything resonates beautifully, and it really elevates the performance for both singers and audience.nnThe facilities are modern and well thought out, making it easy for performers and guests alike. The staff were all warm, professional, and helpful throughout the event.nnSpecial mention to the coffee shop on level 5 - they didn’t miss a beat, serving consistently great coffee all weekend long.nnA world-class venue, and an absolute joy to perform in.
Recently we been to this magnificent venue to attend my daughters AGC choir annual concert which turned out to be an outstanding experience for our family.nThe acoustics were truly magnificent which comes out crystal clear. Seating was comfortable with excellent sightlines to the stage, making it easy to fully enjoy the show.nnThe venue itself is modern, thoughtfully designed, and easy to navigate, with well-planned facilities for both artists and guests. The staff were warm, professional, and consistently helpful throughout the event, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable experience. The campus is quite big which helps you to get few extra steps from parking to the hall, although you are definite, to obtain a parking spot. Enough toilets around. I would happily return for another show and highly recommend it.
I had a fantastic experience. The seating was comfortable with a great view of the stage, and the acoustics were truly impressive—every note sounded crystal clear. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom near door 6 is incredibly small, which led to some long waits and heaven forbid your in the plus size. Other than that, everything was top-notch, and I’d definitely return for another show!
The acoustics are designed for music eg a full orchestra, but this is a great hall for other events too. A bit of sound pickup when watching eg a comedy show, but still a great layout.
Great space. Best to get their early as there is not much space to walk in front of people to get to your seat. Ended up finding a spare seat on the side. So if you ticket seat number is in the middle get their early. Parking was a hassle too once it's busy it's hard to find a park. There is plenty of parking but just need to get their early.
