If you want a professional, ethical, hard working agent who is definitely on the side of the seller you can't go past Maureen Harris. A friend recently brought to my attention an appalling attack on Maureen Davies`s professionalism posted on this site. When I read it I simply could not believe my eyes and I certainly can`t remain silent. In December 2016, Maureen listed my daughters property for sale in Victoria Point. Immediately after the first open for inspection, which she conducted on a Sunday, in what should surely have been her down time, Maureen presented us with a contract for a price we could only have dreamt of. To say we were ecstatic is an understatement! She worked diligently and with extreme attention to detail from the time we approached her to sell the property until the time of settlement. We received regular updates, she even attended a pool certificate approval at the property when neither my daughter nor I could, she found us a handyman who charged a reasonable rate to ensure that the property was presented in a good state so as to preempt any issues with the buyers and on and on her above and beyond approach went. This included contacting us on Christmas eve to assure us that she had spoken to the solicitors and although we were going into the holiday season, things were proceeding to schedule and that settlement would be on time. In closing, if you are thinking of selling your home or buying one and you want this type of untiring effort, the agent you need to deal with is Maureen Davies.
