Paula from appointment line was great. If you are reading this thank you once again. Trying to help. Very professional and helpful which you don’t get this in trust anymore I think last few years care point of you gone down hill as most of consultants see you as number. I remember this trust used to be famous with care and customer service. This lady Paula was great so makes it difference. This trust needs audit more by senior management team.
This hospital is outstanding in every way. I have just come to the end of 4 years as a patient of Mr Mahida. Every appointment and procedure has been first class. I had a short stay with them which resulted in me having a monitor implanted. The Birch ward staff were fantastic. I had my implanted monitor removed today and the team in the Holly suite were also amazing. What is most noticeable is that it's not just that they have excellent doctors and nurses - they have amazing support staff especially the catering and admin staff. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is so well organised. This is the model of how to run a hospital. Thank you so much
Outstanding! I had a 5 day stay on Birch ward in Liverpool heart and chest, and I will always be so grateful for the care & treatment I received here after my multiple cardiac arrests in December 2022. I'm 26 years old, had never had to stay a night in hospital before, equally had never had any surgery or even stitches for that matter, so I was very frightened at first. I had to have an ICD fitted which was very daunting... however all consultants, surgeons, nurses, doctors, chefs, porters, cleaners... every individual there where friendly, informative and reassuring. Nothing was too much to ask, everything was pristine, the food was incredible and they cater for all dietary requirements with plenty of options. I felt very comfortable, safe and assured during my entire time at LHCH. AMAZING!
Heart operation in 2010 fantastic surgeon and fantastic staff. My partner stayed at the hospital house accommodation for relatives while I was admitted at no cost, I am thankful every day for all the help that we received. Many thanks to all of the liverpool heart and chest employees you saved my life!
I would like to say thank you to Dr Ramsdale and team.The Holly Suite staff and all the nurses and secretary who have cared for me so kindly and also the cardiac nurse 's and wish them a safe and happy Christmas.
I can't believe ive been given yet another chance, 2nd stemi heart attack in 3 years, and I have L.H and Chest Hospital to thank, and the praise it most definitely deserved. Again I have to say thank you for your outstanding professionalism and excellent compassion. From the porters to the incredible surgical team. I thank you. But a special thank you to the I.C.U and A.C.U team's, including Rachel, Nicky, mandy, Sheena and many more, and a special thanks to Collette for all their compassion and support throughout my short visit. Thank you so much.
I am totally in awe of the staff at the hospital. I had 1/3 of my right lung removed on 5 July. The care, respect and consideration I received throughout the process was world class. I feel extremely privileged to have had my procedure conducted at LHCH and do not have the words to convey my appreciation to the brilliant professional and non professional people involved in my care

A massive thank you to all the team, Dr Ashrafi ,Emma and Jess at the Holly suite. Everyone was so kind and caring. I felt very nervous going in for my procedure today but was welcome by a lovely nurse/reception and felt at ease, all staff constantly checked to see if me and other patients were okay and if we needed anything. It’s such an amazing job you are all doing and I am very grateful. Thank you for the best service I have ever received x
