Although very busy, they found a place for me. The service was great. Friendly and efficient. The food came out very quickly. The lobak came with a small serving of Fried tofu. Curry puffs were had a firm crust on the outside, soft and flavourful on the inside. The Ho-fun noodles were so nice! I had the combination ho-fun which came with 2 huge prawns on top. The egg sauce was very delicious, and the noodles were plentiful. Highly recommended and not overpriced at all.
Delicious Singaporean food. Everything tasted great and had a beautiful atmosphere. Price is a bit on the higher side though. The place seemed to be busy, but we luckily managed to grab a seat. I recommend booking nonetheless.
Absolutely good and tasty food. The menu is very big, so you can find whatever you want from Singaporean dish. Just book a table and enjoy the food. The service was not as good as the food. It is maybe because they are always busy. I recommend it to others.
First time visiting Little Singapore Restaurant in Chermside. I have always been a regular diner at the benchmark restaurants around Market Square in Sunnybank. Little Singapore Chermside is a worthy consideration to the benchmark restaurants of Market Square. I dined here for dinner on Sunday night. Even though the restaurant was close to 95% full at the time, service was relatively fast. Food was tasty and close to authentic to food back home. Only downside was portions were smaller & price was dearer compared to the benchmark restaurants of similar offerings from Market Square. Also, the service staff forgot the drink I ordered & I had to ask for it halfway thru the meal.
Food was really tasty. Great range of food. Food came out promptly but the service was indifferent in demeanor - servers really didn't seem to be helpful. Recommend the Laksa and the duck even though it's a little pricey. The food is a little pricey. We landed up spending $40ish per person with food and lemonade, and I reckon we could do better...
Located on the 2nd floor of Westfield, this was one of the most crowded restaurants in Chermside. There is a waiting list if you walk in. The host will write your name down. Friendly service albeit the crowd. Empty tables were promptly filled with new diners. Decent ambience and decor. Very stereotypical Chinese interior with lanterns and traditional tables. Probably looks like Singapore restaurants in the 80s. You will never find this decor anywhere in Singapore now. Lol. Tiger beer pint under 10 was a huge plus for me. We ordered: Chili Crab - soft shell crab with a choice of 2 sauces and comes with fried buns mantou. Which is almost a national dish, second to chicken rice. Chili crab sauce was too sour. They should balance it out with salt, sugar and MSG abit more. Otherwise it's a 7/10 for us. A little bit pricey at 30+. Nasi Lemak - for 20+, it was quite good value. Huge serving of coconut rice, fried hard boil egg, fried anchovies, two fried chicken drumstick, either chicken or pork floss, cucumber and sambal. Can taste the preservatives in the sambal, was a bit disappointed that they don't make it from scratch. But it does take a bit of time to make good sambal. 7/10. Combination Curry Laksa - this was surprisingly good value. Taste was good as well. Would've preferred more rempah and laksa taste if possible. Was abit on the watery bland-ish spectrum. But I would give it an 8/10. Overall experience is an 8/10. Will be back to try the other dishes. Also, just call the typhoon chicken, fried cereal chicken la. Kid-friendliness: Kids cutlery Parking: Ample parking at Westfield.
Finally found my perfect restaurant Dumplings were handmade , fresh and full of prawns . Kao pao chicken just perfect . Garlic prawns delicious Size is huge had to take containers home as we couldnt eat it all. This place is amazing Cannot say anything bad as we were extremely satisfied wish we had this in North Lakes.
Nice atmosphere not a great variety of foods.. not.compared to Melbourne.. also dishes not overly generous..the flavours were their out of 4 dishes ordered 2 were wonderful the other 2 were average
Lovely atmosphere and food, delicious and aromatic. We were perfectly satisfied with the whole experience.Food: 5/5
I ordered a nasi goreng and although the flavors were there unfortunately the rice was WAY overcooked which really let the dish down. Also, while there were bits of egg IN the dish, nasi goreng should be served with a whole egg. In addition to the lackluster meal, I ordered a Shiraz to have with my lunch and unfortunately it tasted like vinegar, so I sent it back. Given it was the ONLY Shiraz they have, IMO it is unacceptable that it was so dreadful. Sorry guys I can only give you 2/5 stars
