General Manager Naomi Field, Head Chef Lance Hage and our friendly Bar & Bistro team look forward to welcoming you aboard at the Little Ship Club. Our range of dining and seating options ranges from sit-down occasions for around 100 people to a smaller 'nook' for private functions or meetings with 10-20 people. A dining patio seating several dozen is bordered by lush gardens and can be fully weather-enclosed if needed. Across our expansive lawns, the covered BBQ area and adjoining gazebo allows for more relaxed gatherings.
At our absolute waterfront location on the shores of the One Mile anchorage, on the northern side of Dunwich, we enjoy a fantastic 180-degree panorama - from Coochiemudlo and Victoria Point to the south on your left, right round to distant Moreton Island and Amity Point on your right - of the sparkling waters (and stunning sunsets) of the Bay.
Little Ship Club is the venue of choice for weddings, receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings and relaxed business meetings, seminars and workshops. The Club is right next door to the Gold Flyer water taxi pontoon and the Straddie bus stop so getting here is easy - and street parking is available if you're bringing your car over on one of the barge services.

Great location on the Western shore line of Nth Staddie, at Dunwich. Good anchorage get out of an SE or SW winds. Friendly down to earth Aussie bar service and food was amazing, thank you. Please remember the club rules
This is our "go to" favourite place on the bay. we love the friendly staff, cold beers, relaxed atmosphere and the unique location. Oh and di I mention amazing sunsets?! Get there or miss out!
What a great place. We were on the water for the day and a friend of mine told me about the Little Ship Club, so I booked a berth and tied up. The grassy area was really nice and tranquil. The kids and I had some fish and chips for lunch. We saw some awesome looking burgers come out whilst we were eating. Will definitely go back.
Awesome effort from the kitchen staff serving a big crowd, poor staffing level due to covid only lifted their efforts. New menu was devine and fresh oysters a must, cold beers poured and unbelievable views. Small hint, turn up early to avoid disappointment.....well done Little Ship's club.
The food is great value and really well done. Fresh calamari and Whiting. Perfect chips. And nice range of drinks. Family friendly too.
Cane here yesterday for a meal before getting on the ferry! Absolutely beautiful! Food was delicious, staff were friendly and happy to have a chat which was nice and the beers went down good with the view. Such a great vibe with the huge grass area and live music!
A little disappointed. Usually our last stop before Leaving the island. We were excited to come back after reading on the website there had been an upgrade to the menu. But the only change seemed to be less options. We had the fish and chips. Although everything was fresh, the salad was not dressed and no lemon wedge. Basic stuff. The music was way to loud. Not a chilled out atmosphere at all. Have to commend the cleanliness and friendly staff
We were very disappointed with the choice, quality and price of the food: we arrived at 11:30, only 30 minutes after the club had opened, and many items on the menu were already marked as unavailable, including some kids meals. Clean cutlery was quickly used up, so disposable cutlery was brought out and to make matters worse, the server was also surly and tables were not cleared after diners left. Maybe it was a one-time 'bad day', but it was a very poor experience, and very poor value for money.
Short hop from Peel Island and a great spot for lunch. Beautiful.
The club was fine it hasn't changed in the years I have visited. Today new years eve and I went to order lunch ,the prices were ridiculously high for a basic menu . My mate and I ordered the Thai fish cakes salad and chips $25 each what they dished up for $25 was small amount of salad handful of average chips and and 3 small Thai fish cakes that weren't very nice . Price gouging for average food
