Come here for the best smashed avo!! Its true the smashed avo is amazing with seasonal pesto, Danish feta, roasted tomatoes and more, its a must try. Staff are lovely and the chef really knows his stuff. Food is picture prefect so fresh and baked goods are made on site and look rustic. Coffee by Duke.
Food served in humongous portions and I especially like the double fish burger. Coffee is good. Beans from Duke.
Have had both coffee and dinner here and both were good. It is on the bottom floor of a new block of apartments. It is quite popular with very friendly staff. There is outdoor dining. Car parking can be a problem at certain times as the Waverley road is getting busier and busier.
Great food terrific service with good menu. Can sit and relax with a lovely cup of coffee.
Modern design cafe with a mostly relaxed atmosphere. Acoustics are not perfect so noise can be an issue if busy. Personally I wouldn't pull out my laptop in this cafe to work but its fine for a coffee or meal with friends. Coffee is great, yet East Malvern doesn't struggle for the supply of great coffee.
Nice breakfast. A little cheeky charging $5 for an extra piece of toast though.
My cafe experience here was tragic. The owner is rude and abusive to his staff and I saw it first hand. Shocking and hard to see. A lovely morning conversing with my daughter ruined.
Owner is so rude and has stated 'He can talk to anyone anyway he likes' Has lost many regular clients...and cutting back on staff at peak times .ie.having one barista serving at peak morning is ridiculous. Hence bad service.
