The BEST Malaysian you’ll find in Brisbane and at great prices!! Went to the one at the Ferny Grove Bowls Club and it was delicious! Steven was our server and he was fantastic!! 10/10 recommend.
This authentic Malaysian kitchen is hidden away in the Geebung Bowls Club. I'm assuming the local bowling fraternity may be puzzled. This place absolutely rocks. The plates are enormous. The specials change every week. I'm assuming grandma is out in the kitchen cooking her heart out. If not, the chef was well trained by grandma. This is becoming our family favourite.
Discovered this little gem a couple of weeks ago. I plan to go through every dish on the menu as they are just so tasty. If you're looking for flowers and candles, this probably isn't the place, but with quality fresh dishes and bowls club drinks prices, it's perfect for family meals and eats with friends.
Steven was welcoming and helpful, giving us recommendations! The char keow tiaw had the wok hey, chicken slices tender and flavoursome, salty and umami goodness. He recommended the fried fish soup that was very refreshing - made with fresh ingredients and generous amount of fish! Can’t wait to come back and try their other dishes.
Good Malaysian food. Good portion, delicious and authentic. Their Nasi lemak, hainanese chicken rice and char kuey teow are very good. The yam cake is nice too. ABC dessert was so so in my opinion.
