This bakery used to be one of my favourite places to stop in for lunch while at work - unfortunately this isn't the case anymore. Unsure if they have hired new staff or are under new management, however, the new faces are so unprofessional... no willingness to serve you, more a sigh and are clearly inconvenienced by your presence. This has happened several times now, not just once. (The old staff were lovely, no issues)

Handling money and food at the same time with their gloves, one woman working there was visually sick and coughing into her hands. The place looks visually dirty, too. They have a salad bar where you can request a fresh bakery roll/bread, and salads of choice, yet at request, they clearly can't be bothered and now just pull a ready made one off the shelf (of their choice) and add/remove salads. What happens if you were allergic to something? Couldn't believe it. On the plus side, their pies are very good, but I wouldn't trust the hygiene of that place anymore to bother. Yuck.

Great little bakery. Good for a cheap lunch. Absolutely delightful staff.
