Take your car and family/friends and make a great trip. You can choose from several interesting spots, such as waterfalls, lakes, watching the termites or kangaroos. Choose well your trip – you won’t probably spend hours watching the termites, so pick several spots. If you want to really enjoy the water, don’t go directly to the highlighted points, but walk a little – swimming spots are signed every time and most of them are a little hidden (but still signed and you can walk there on nice sidewalks), so you can enjoy some privacy.

About the only thing good with Darwin. Beautiful drive and well paved roads. Did not see much wildlife but instead saw amazing fauna and nature. The waterfalls are a must as you can swim in them. Note there is no mobile reception in the park and the only cafe is quite a drive into the park.

One of my favorite places to visit when in Darwin. It is well worth the drive. Termite mounds, lots of swimming holes, bush walking at all levels and Plenty of views.make sure you bring plenty of your own supplies as there is only 1 canteen at Wangi falls and is only open at peak hours. Every visit i always find more to do. If toy can, stay for sunset at Tolmer Falls.
