Friendly, helpful staff, they try to support local Aussie wines, could be a little more competitively priced.

I have been and eaten there twice, and will never return. Greatly over priced. Lemon wedge on the plate had been cut hours before and was all dried on the outside. Lettuce was brown around the edges and swimming in balsamic vinegar. Was not given cutlery, no pepper or salt on the table. Most of all both meals that I had there were flavour less.

25 August 2012 Cutting Costs at the benefit of the $5 meals. Lunch time Thursday. What an insult to your customers Lapstone Hotel Management. I have always enjoyed my open steak sandwich for $12.50, It was a great meal and well worth frequenting your establishment. The new steak sandwich with the price increase to $15.00.What a ripe off. The bread measures about 4 centimetres top and bottom. The sandwich is certainly not worth the new price attached to it. What is presented now as a steak sandwich served by your hotel in between the deceitful foccacia bread sandwich is a very small serving of meat, tomato, onion, relish with chips on the side of the plate. The old steak sandwich came as an open stack sandwich with meat, bacon, lettuce, beetroot, egg, tomato, served with chips and salad. The $5 meals were stacked with a large piece of chicken snitzel, chips and salad. I noticed that your menus on your website have not been updated for many years which is false advertising. Lapstone Hotel has certainly lost my patronage.

This place used to be so much better the food has drasticly declined in quality in the last year. It used to be quality not quantity but it's changed to the vice versa. Still OK value for money. But no longer my first choice.
