Very friendly staff and always cater to my family’s need. We have been coming here for family birthdays every year for over 10 years. We always get a banquet and never disappointed.
Paid $60 for Chinese meal for one person!! I understand that prices risen everywhere, but this seems to be rather steep. Food was very average. This was the last time l visited this restaurant. NB Lin’s garden, which l often visited, does not exists anymore, it’s managed by different group, unfortunately
My friend Jake had told me about how good this restraunt is but I had my doubts as many other people I know have told me about their dreadful experiences at this establishment. I decided to come by this afternoon to inspect this place and see it for myself. What I saw was shocking and disgraceful. This place can only be described as a filthy death trap and I am quite surprised that Food Standards NSW have not taken necessary measures to deal with this shocking issue as this establishment puts the health of customers and patrons at risk due to its filthy conditions I saw at the front of the shop. If the front was that filthy I cannot fathom the state of the kitchen at the back. I urge you all not to come here if you value your health and well-being.
This place has been going down hill for the last 5 years. Food is continuing to be less quality over the years. Prices keep going up continually and there's never a consistent price on what they charge. it seems to be dependant on who serves you and how they are feeling. Decor is dated and service is poor. The only reason people still go here is because they have been there for years and don't know any better. The food at the Chinese shop on Pitt st has a far better range is much tastier, fresher and more reasonably priced. it's time for a change.
Completely unnaceptable behaviour from the restaurants delivery driver. He swore at my wife for being late opening the door. He walked off without giving us our change When I confronted him about my change which would have been his tip if he wasn't rude he yelled at me in his native tongue and walked off. Prices used to be far more reasonable for the quality of food.
Do not recommend this place, we visited this place yesterday for takeaway. They charge premium prices, but the food was terrible. We ordered Mongolian lamb, the meat did not look or taste fresh. The worst Chinese I have ever eaten.
I have been coming to your shop over 20 years since I moved to area! The meal you served me today was terrible! Not what I expected, I am very annoyed, and for me it will be the last , what a shame you have lost your way , might as well shut up shop if you continue this way.
Used to love this place but it has gone down hill in the last year or so anything beef is chewy and awful they've lost me. Will never order again i have been a customer for many years
Ordered the peeking beef strips which I have had from dozens of Chinese restaurants in the past usually a beautiful dish. This time hawever the beef was so tough it was impossible to eat it. All I can say is that the meat was inferior quality, certainly a cheap cut. This restaurant should be using far better ingredients for the price they charge.
My family and I love this place. Staff always recognise us, even over the phone, and genuinely ask after the family. We've been coming for years and it never disappoints. Faves are spicy calimari, sizzling Mongolian beef, and Szechuan chicken. Just wholesome Chinese.
