A perfect signature of Iranian cuisine. Wonderful taste and colors in all our dishes which made up for their high price. Happy enough to come back and try other dishes in their menu!
It was so delicious. I am a tourist from South Korea. It's foods I can't eat in Korea, but I was so happy to eat such delicious food in Newcastle. I write a review because the food at this restaurant is delicious even though I don't speak English well.
My girlfriend and I stopped in here last night for a dinner. With so many options in the area we struggled to settle, but chose Persian restaurant because it’s pretty unique and had great ratings. We walked in on what seemed to be a very busy Friday and were seated within 10 minutes. We order a dish with lamb chops and one with duck. Both dishes came our very good. Meat here was tender and super flavorful with the sauce. I was very happy with the choices and we made however we were both still hungry after finishing this meal. We only had the main course, but it was definitely on the lighter side. The people here were friendly and very kind, but they didn’t check on us the entire meal. Our water was emptied pretty quickly and they never came back around. Other than portion size and lack of service I have no complaints!
Great staff, very friendly and cheerful. The food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the Khoresht aloo from the dinner menu, so delicious and one of the tastiest meals I've ever had.Food: 5/5
The food is absolutely to die for!!! Good servings and really beautiful food and service. A delicious dinner and dessert! Good value that shows in the quality of the food New favourite in Newcastle!
Dined there tonight 30/8 with my wife, we cannot say enough about the menu, the staff and the gentle subtle ambience of this little hole in the wall. Simple with a plain middle eastern menu. with excellent matching wines. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is what we would call home cooking at its best. The coffee turkish was great. All wash down with a bottle of Pepper Tree Shiraz. well done to the Limos.
Great service lovely staff, great choice to choose from on the menu. samosas are wonderful. The three dishes I had were a bit too salty. I would prefer less salt in the cooking, so that if I wanted to add any more later, I could of my own choice.Recommended dishesSamosas
Thank you for such delicious, fresh food in a relaxing, elegant atmosphere with kind staff. Vegan options also clearly marked. A special night out to remember!
We had the koofte and mahiche as our mains and the cheesecake and Persian love cake as our desserts. The mahiche was absolutely amazing, definitely recommend it for anyone who likes slow cooked lamb. I love the food at Limoo. Everything is delicious, generous portions the first photo with the wrap is an entree!. When it was my birthday the owner generously didn’t charge me for the Persian Love Cake that I ordered for dessert. The service is always friendly, the food is served quickly. Going here again soon with friends for a banquet dinner.
