This place was AMAZING. As soon as you step into this restaurant you are greeted with the most amazing waiters and staff. The atmosphere is incredible and incorporates Asian fusion at its best. From the food to the drinks, the selection is never ending. The interaction of this place makes this dining experience all the more enjoyable. For a first dining experience I would highly highly recommend!
We chose the Chef Selection, it was perfect! 7 or more dishes one desert at the end were so yum!!! The drinks were very refreshing too. Will definitely come back to try more!
Took the hubby here to celebrate his 30th.nThe restaurant was busy, but a lovely vibe. The old school finishes inside were lovely.nThe wait staff were fantastic and attentantive. Thank you all.nnThe food was outstandingnWe had the $89 primo menu and they were accommodating to my husband who does not eat seafood.nThere was so much food, we practically rolled home. We forgot to photo the bao bun course.nnWill definitely come here again and try other dishes for sure.
Incredible! Everything we ate was so good. A special shout out to Rohan our waiter who was great! We considered ordering one of the Feed Me options then decided to choose from the menu as we got over excited on our choices, he suggested the quantity of dishes 2 people usually would order so we decided to remove a dish and glad he suggested it as we were definitely satisfied by the end but will be back to try other dishes we like the sound of.
Took my fiancé here last night for his 30th birthday dinner and absolutely could not fault it! We got the $89 banquet option, some wine and mocktails. Everything was jam packed with flavour, cooked so well and tasted amazing. We asked for no coriander as a garnish or in the salads and they made sure to make this happen. We were given plenty of food and even took some left over salad and veg home with us. Every member of the Light Years team we encountered also knew it was my fiancés birthday and wished him a happy birthday! Service, food, atmosphere 10/10, would definitely recommend. We will for sure be back to try more on the menu. Great job guys! Definitely one of the most lovely dining experiences we’ve had in Newcastle
