The food and drinks were amazing! Everything we ordered was really enjoyable. The place does get quite busy, so I would recommend booking ahead if you can. We ended up sitting at the bar, and with a big food order it was a bit hard to fully enjoy the meal in that setup. Overall though, still a great experience and definitely worth visiting.
Great place for Asian food and cocktails. Place has a very spacious, bright vibe. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. Ordered their Light Years Ceviche, prawn dumplings and the Sezchuan honey prawns. The Ceviche kingfish was fresh and good amount of sauce. The prawn dumplings were steamed people perfectly and their was a good amount of prawn filling. The sezchuan prawns was lightly fried, plump and had addicting batter. It does have a numbing spice but not spicy. Recommend the sago for dessert. On the bottom had a layer of raspberry and then mango. It was very refreshing after the meals. Also recommend any of their cocktails. They were not too sweet and refreshing.
This place has a beautiful ambience and a wonderful atmosphere. I really appreciated how the servers proactively asked about allergies instead of waiting for us to mention them; it shows genuine care and attention toward their customers. The food was absolutely delicious, and I’m definitely coming back.
This was our fourth visit to Lightyears, and as expected, the food was impeccable. Plenty of plant-based options and generous serves. And speaking of serves, our waiter Ben delivered the food and atmosphere with his attentive service and banter. Thanks Ben.
I booked a table for two and, while waiting to be checked in, we noticed some friends and stopped to say hello. We quickly realised they were on a date.When the server came to the front desk, he discreetly mentioned that our table was close to theirs and kindly asked whether we’d prefer to sit nearby or move. I quietly asked to be moved so our friends could enjoy their date, and I was genuinely impressed by how thoughtful and considerate he was to even ask.I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name, but he had a ponytail and checked us in on 23/01 at around 5:00pm. That level of awareness and care is what I’d call above and beyond customer service.On top of that, the food, drinks, and all the servers were amazing. Such a great dinner, thank you!
