Lifeline is Nationwide, they take calls from home now. They are great to chat with. Sound advice. I spoke to No Names. And I felt much better. They know when it's time to cut off a call, but they are ever so nice about it. If something is worrying, give them a call. They are great listeners. I just hope they are being paid for this.
Got hung up on in a bad time
Waste of time. Killing itself would be less painful than talking to this mob
I rang this mob sobbing and saying I don't know how much more I can take and was thinking of ending it all ..I was told twice and rudely " so what do you want us to do " ..that comment just added to my distress ..don't ever ring these people for help ..seems they encourage suicide ..disgusted
Never call if you really just want a person to talk to!! The inkling that you've had enough... many of us have been there but mean nothing by it...we just want a person to talk to- then we 'tick all boxes' and lights and sirens are blazing. Not. At. All.
This service most likely causes more suicide than they prevent ...they need to train there staff better...and weed out the sociopaths that love the power of holding people's lives in there hands...
