Dylan Stewart knows his stuff, if you can snatch him up to be your trainer. He has a very sound understanding of Traffic Control (the course I undertook). His knowledge is clear and concise. Any questions I had he answered perfectly. When we went into the practical training he was calm and alert, his instructions were very easy to follow. If I had to do it again I would do it with him. Licences 4 work does a good job taking care of their students and the price is very competitive .

All in all two pleasant courses, but not a very organized business in ANY WAY. I can only say nice things about the staff, they have been nothing but nice and helpful, having said that there's a manager somewhere not doing his/her job properly. 5 stars for staff, 1 for management/organization. I did my Traffic Control course with Dylan in Bankstown, who's good at his job, fun and very helpful. Did my TC Implement with Robyn, who's a very nice woman with a very different approach to teaching (compared to Dylan), unfortunately she's not the best at dealing with rude boys doing the course. That's however not her fault and I think she's a great trainer as well. However the person who was suppose to book our Work Placement for the Implement didn't show up for work that day. We were told that someone would give us a call within the next couple of days (in order to book it), which didn't happen. So I called them up myself and booked. My first day in the Work Placement program went just fine, I received a message with the location the day before (address was however spelled wrong which created a bit confusion). At the Work Placement they were nice and helpful with the evidence. My second day wasn't quite the same experience. I didn't receive a message with the location, I tried to call Licenses 4 Work, but it was "outside office hours" (office opens at 8 am, same time as the Work Placement). Therefore I didn't have a lot of options, so I decided to show up on the same location as the day before, but it wasn't there. I called the number (**** *** 239) from the message the day before, and a nice young lady helped me out. She gave me another location to go to the same day, only a couple of hours later.

Dylan Stewart is an excellent teacher and has great sense of humour. His teaching methods and techniques are authentic and I would highly recommend my friends and colleagues to join liceences4work to do their trainings.

Important Things L4W don’t tell you about the TC Combo Course 1. They don’t tell you to keep a copy of your 2 Testimonials. You will need these when you apply for a job. 2. They don’t tell you that if you forget to record the mob no of your 2 Testimonials, L4W will cite privacy reasons for only giving you the office number of your work experience providers. 3. They don’t tell you that your potential employer wont appreciate a reference that gives the message “Optus advises that this number has been disconnected’. Tell them to ring around 4 pm & they will find that the number answers. 4. They don’t tell you that you must ring L4W if you want L4W Certificates for each course. 5. They don’t tell you that your written exams are open book, so it is perfectly acceptable to look up your course notes when answering written questions. 6. They don’t tell you that you may find it easier to hold the 2 way radio in the same hand you are holding up to stop traffic. 7. They don’t tell you to ring the office if you have not received a text for your work experience location by 4pm the previous business day e.g. on Fri afternoon for a job on Monday.

Beginners forklift licence - is really a 3 'day' course. First two days are classroom work and practical training, followed by a written test. The third day is to complete a final written exam and practical. The practice time is enough to get the information required to pass and the staff were all pleasant enough, but be prepared to wait.... a lot. Turn up on time, to see the staff 10 minutes late. Sit in class room, wait.... do practical portion... wait.... 2 hour lunch break for the final day....wait.... Peter spent the time to make sure everyone was on the same level, so hats off to him. Just bring a phone charger or a newspaper.
