We had to book the hotel last minute due to other reasons so it was relatively cheap considering circumstance. You can definitely tell that the room was used by other guests in a not so friendly manner, so a few imperfections here and there. Deposit needed to be paid which is fair considering what state the previous guests might have left the room in. Kitchen had a good amount of pots and pans so was able to cook well and cheap. Really close to a Asian food market which makes shopping so much cheaper and super delicious!
If you’re looking for something cheap and on the go this place is perfect, not to far from everything and the customer service is good, I’ve seen some other reviews complaining about the views from the balcony but it honestly just depends on what you get I got a pretty good view hahaha. Although it’s located next to the train tracks it honestly wasn’t that loud and I slept like a baby. The apartment itself was clean and tidy and the aircon was a dream . All round the noise and everything wasn’t as bad as some people made it out to be and the room was nice aswell.
nI am extremely disappointed with how this property handled my parking situation.nnI was a registered guest and had paid for parking. I was also provided with a parking voucher, which I placed inside my vehicle according to the instructions given. Despite this, my car was towed and I was charged $660 in towing fees.nnWhat I find most unreasonable is that no attempt was made to verify whether the vehicle belonged to a hotel guest before towing it. The hotel had my license plate information and knew I had paid for parking. A simple confirmation process could have prevented this entire situation. Instead, the towing contractor proceeded immediately, causing unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and financial loss.nnIf the policy truly requires a voucher to be visibly displayed at all times, then the hotel should ensure the system actually protects paying guests. Simply claiming that the voucher was “not visible” without any photo evidence or verification is not acceptable, especially when a guest has already paid.
Don't waste your money.. read on!nnWe recently stayed at Liberty One and unfortunately had a very poor experience that led us to cut our trip short and leave a day early.nnThe biggest issue was cleanliness. The floors were clearly not properly cleaned walking barefoot for even a few minutes resulted in blackened feet. There was visible dust and debris under the bed, and we ended up vacuuming ourselves just to make the space tolerable. The balcony was also unusable, with cigarette butts left on the ground and general grime throughout.nnFurnishings and linen were in equally poor condition. There were cigarette burns in a chair, stains on dining chairs, and a couch covered with a damaged cover that appeared to be hiding further marks. The bedding had a visible dirty shoe print on it, which is unacceptable in any accommodation.nnThe apartment itself showed obvious signs of neglect. Scuffed and marked walls including shoe prints on the ceiling, a cracked kitchen splashback, water damage to the bedroom door, and a hole in the bathroom door from poor design. Towels provided were thin, worn, and even had holes in them.nnOne of the most concerning issues was the front door. It did not open or close properly, required excessive force, and did not shut on its own. At times it felt like a safety concern, and my partner was unable to open it from the outside. This was raised with management during our stay and we were told it would be fixed the following day.. this never happened.nnWi-Fi was effectively unusable, even for basic tasks like emails.nnTo be fair, some issues were raised with staff during the stay, including the door and initial cleanliness concerns. However, nothing was meaningfully resolved while we were there.nnWhat’s most disappointing is that this property markets itself as an “exclusive collection of elegant inner-city apartments,” which is far from what we experienced. Based on the condition of the room, this felt closer to a neglected budget motel.nnFollowing our stay, communication with management was slow and largely dismissive. While they acknowledged some concerns, no meaningful resolution or compensation was offered beyond a small discount for a future stay which we declined.nnOverall, this was not a one-off inconvenience but a combination of cleanliness, maintenance, and service failures. We would not stay here again.
I’m disappointed with my experience at this hotel. One major issue is the $200 bond they charge upfront. Even better hotels don’t require this kind of security deposit, so it feels unnecessary and inconvenient.nnWhat’s more frustrating is the refund process. Even after checking out, it takes 2–3 weeks for the bond to be returned. If there are no issues with the room, this should be checked within 1–2 days and refunded quickly. Holding customers’ money for that long is not acceptable.nnOverall, the stay was okay, but policies like this really affect the customer experience. I hope management improves this process
