The minimum chips were seven dollars, they were rushed, pale and under cooked, there’s too much going on in the hands of the old man and everyone in there is frustrated at him, you can just see it. $7 min. Chips four nuggets, two sandwiches and two devil wing dings and two kids drinks $37.50 which they forgot my wings
Must off changed hand since the previous reviews just wanted chips and gravy board said min chips $5 no don't do that. Now min is $8 for chips and gravy asked if I could have the gravy in separate container that will be $3 so end up costing $11 for chips and gravy that was just enough for 2 people and the chips were not that great either sorry I won't be going back. The person before me didn't get what he ordered on his burger either. Maybe they were just having a bad day.
Food was fresh, coffee good and very friendly man served us.
A cafe like they used to be - friendly staff, food presented exceptionally, and excellent value. Try their roast meat rolls usually pork or chicken available - delicious! Perfect with a drink from the relatively local Hopes Cordials from Goulburn.
Great food! We where on the road from Sydney to Melbourne and wanted a bite to eat so we ended up in Yass. Had the burger with the lot, it was MASSIVE nice and fresh salad and frys if your doing the trip down and are after a decent meal 100% check it out!!
Ordered a steak sandwich that was reacieved with a long black hair from the greasy old man. Almost made me vomit looking at it. By the way if you want chips from this place order NO salt as they will give you salt with a side of chips. Service was alright but the food was horrible. I would recommend not coming to this place.
Though the service was excellent and staff were really friendly, the steak and the burger that we ordered were dreadful . I paid $28 for the steak and I must say, I don't think it was worth that much. Also, the hot chocolate was very tasty!
Place hasn't changed since the 80/90s. Old friendly Greek owner. Best thing on the menu is the hamburger with the lot for $10. If you want chiko rolls and classice Aussie takeaway food this is the place in yass to get it.
I found the owner and most of the staff very friendly, and the Megacino coffee was hot and pleasant. There were lots of customers, indicating that most people are happy with the quality of the food and the prices. I'd go back there again. :
Omg!!! Loved this cafe. Had a fantastic grilled fish and salad for lunch. Great friendly people who run it. If I could give 100 stars I would.
