It was closed due to some road works, but a resident told us that there is a walkway and can walk towards the picnic area. We had to walk 15-20 minutes to the picnic area under the blazing sun. It looks abandoned and desolated. The grasses were tall, bunch of dried leaves everywhere.
Awesome all family should go
A very good place for a picnic, as there are many grassy areas and picnic tables that are suitable for a relaxing meal with friends. It also has easy vehicular access, with many parking spots and good facilities.
What a lovely place to stop for a picnic lunch on our way back home from the Blue mountains. I only wish I'd had my better camera to take photos worthy of printing. I'll surely be back again to see if I can capture views of the cascade in different light and time of day.
Beautiful National Park! Winter is good season for hiking.
