Let me start off by saying the staff were friendly albeit quiet and the price would be fair for what the centre apparently was 6 months ago.nnAs a germaphobe dad I had putting off coming here for a rainy day, not due to bad reviews but due to not wanting to over do the kids play centre scene with such a young child under 2nnThe space was fantastic but I was sold the world about how amazing the play areas are only to come on an afternoon with my son and partner to find bare cupboards and not much on the floor to show that the cupboafds would be full after pack up.nnI was told this space had been renovated mid year, definitely would not have believed them today.nnThe free coffee was fine and an added incentive for parents to bring their kids. I just think the upkeep of the centre couldve been better.
The staff dont care that there are 6 and 7 year olds in the area designated for 4 and under, extremely dangerous for those under four. According to responses of other reviews highlighting the same issue the owners think its the parents responsibility to ensure older kids dont go into the under 4 section so dont expect the staff or owners to care.nnNot to mention their response to highlighting previously was to attack the parent highlighting the issue. I assume this review will get the same snarchy attitude.nnThe place has a musty smell as well.
I took my 2 girls 3 and 4 today to the centre for the first time. It was excellent. We opted for a creative kids club class which was perfect, the theme was “all about me”. We started with some songs and an introduction to the space and then the kids could do both messy sensory imaginative play and standard play including a small sandpit, climbing wall and foam pit. This takes place in rooms behind the play centre and was definitely the highlight book a session for sure. The staff were very lovely and helpful but not over the top. After our session we went into the play space which was great for climbing, sliding and jumping to burn some energy. The food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The added bonus was the free ballon making lady who created another extra experience. Can’t recommend highly enough. Way better than the other play centres. Can’t wait to go back next week which I’ve already booked in.
Strap in, this is a long but positive one! We have frequenting Let's Play for a while, especially since it has been under new ownership. We hosted our daughters birthday party in the messy play area earlier in the year, which was absolutely fabulous. For a smaller group of 3 year olds, having that amazing space all to ourselves for the duration of the party was great and not as overwhelming for some of our smaller guests. The food was great, the staff amazing and the play space is fab.nnLast week my daughter attended one of the 'Drop and Run' programs that they have just started offering in school holidays. I can't express how happy my daughter was with this experience! They did numerous creative activities, like building a fairy garden complete with lovely flowers and figurines and making a bird house, which all came home with her. It seemed to be a great mix of free play, structured activities and a generous amount delicious food throughout the day. Skye was amazing with the kids, and I heard nothing but praise. We will definitely be back next holidays for this program as our kid enjoyed it so much! Thanks for coming up with a great idea for school holidays
