Nice meal with friendly staff. Pasta was fresh and could tell they use fresh pasta instead dry ones. For burger, however, chicken wasn't crispy but could tell it was pre-made and warmed/heated up once ordered. Overall taste was good and liked the vibe and atmosphere surrounding also good too.
Absolutely amazed by the flavour and quality of food by this hidden gem in Clayfield. Firstly the food looks beautifully presented and is packed with flavour. 10/10 to all these dishes. All staff we met were extremely friendly however the stand out was a waitress named Regina who was ever so welcoming from beginning to the end of the experience there. Parking is not the easiest here however as the cafe is always so busy that most of the time the street parking infront is taken. Highly recommend coming here!
So happy we came across this amazing place. It was cold , rainy and very early morning . We have been checking some places that open up at this early hour. The atmosphere was actually matching the weather outside. Good selection of meals. Once out breakfast’s arrived and we tasted this scrumptious food it took us both by surprise. I expected cold and tasteless and was pleasantly impressed with how delicious it was.
Coffee was presented well with good robust flavour. We ordered corn fritters & chilli eggs. Not enough chilli in the eggs for my friends taste, but a good dish. Fritters were delicious, crispy outside & soft inside with lots of corn. Accompanying Salsa was nice, avocado was a bit mushy could have been chunkier for my taste but on the whole a good dish Parking: Plenty of parking on street
The food was so delicious and well plated. Good proportion size dishes. The tacos were my personal favourite. And the fresh drinks are super yummy. Service, however, needs a slight improvement. We got there and waited to be seated. One of the waiters saw us as he was walking by and said he'd attend to us shortly. He went past multiple times after but didn't tend to us, so we had to ask another waitress to help us.
Beautiful food, lovely coffee, and such a nice atmosphere here. Even at their busiest, it’s worth the wait. Staff are so friendly, it feels like you’re in your own home kitchen. The best avo on toast I’ve ever had, and I like to think I’ve had more avo on toast than I’ve had hot dinners in my life! Street parking is ample, too.
Good coffee & hot chocolate. I ordered the barramundi with salads my dish was great, colourful. Hobby ordered , he just ate the inside of the burger as the bread was old. I just mention so the shop know & check it before serving food to customers. This is my first time to your cafe, keeping up on your service. We would like to support a local business
Large cafe with a pleasant interior and would be good for groups/families. The service was friendly, but the food and drinks were pretty slow to come out. One of our drinks was even forgotten, although when staff were informed of this, they did fix the issue quite quickly. My food mushrooms was tasty but unfortunately very cold and I didn't enjoy the creamy paste in the bread, so have rated my experience accordingly.
Sautéed Truffle Mushrooms A highlight for the relaxed dining space, homely feel and fantastic accommodating service. The coffee beat the meal by about 2 minutes, and it wasn’t slow. The meal was a little small, but my eyes are skewed and I’m sure I make a habit of cleaning the plate more than most. Each element had its punchy flavour and they each worked to produce a balanced dish overall. You’d need to like vinegar to enjoy the side salad - “pickled shallots and beetroot’ - but I do. Mushrooms were not oily, and had been cooked to retain a nice amount of texture. The truffle was subtle and nothing wrong with the poached eggs. It all worked. I did leave hungry, but the meal I got was tasty and with the relaxed space, the service, and the free wifi, Let Minnow its one of the top ‘go and feel welcome’ study spots that come to mind.
What a great cafe! The staff were super happy and lovely, food was delicious & coffee and chai were great too. We can highly recommend the truffle eggs and eggs Benedict.
