Great hiking trails. Waterfall itself is a dribble at the moment. You can choose between several trails. Be sure to use sunscreen and take plenty of water with you. Also a hat to fight the heat. If you are having a picnic, please clean after yourself and don't litter! Sadly saw(and picked up) a few water bottles along the trail. There is a garbage can at the start of the trail. If you can take stuff with you, you can take stuff back.

Just less than half hour drive from Perth city, this is a popular destination for nature lovers. Apart from the water falls, there are several walking tracks that are clearly marked. It is encouraged to review all the tracks that are presented and described on the information panel near the car parks. The location is in the Mundy National Park in the Perth Hills. You will also have a panoramic view including the Perth's cityscape on the horizon. Children will also love this place. The longer walking trails require more time and more muscle. Make sure you are in fit conditions and wear appropriate foot wear for climbing some steep walkway. Do not forget to bring plenty of water. What I don't like is the many dog's poo scattered along the tracks. If you don't own dogs, you might be disturbed by the smell of the poos. Otherwise, this is a place worth visiting in Perth.

Lovely waterfall. Don't mind the hike but it was very hard for my 4 year old and we had to carry her most of the way which made it super tiring. If bringing little kids it would be better to park the car in the car park near the foot of the falls. If you want to go to the lookout then drive to the other car park. Thr hike down to the foot od the hills and back up is too hard for the little ones. Bring plenty of water if going on a hot day. Parts of the hike down to the foot of the falls lack shade. Toilets seem to be only available at the top car park near lookout. I didn't notice one at the bottom.

Gorgeous place for a casual walk, no extreme difficulty. Family & dog friendly. You can take a picnic.

Great view of Perth city. Good trails for walking, lookout points, toilets and picnic tables.
