Leopold Vet Clinic is a FULL TIME, fully equipped medical, surgical and dental facility for small animals. We are independent - not a branch of one of the Geelong practices. We are able to perform all usual medical and surgical procedures, and have the back up of visiting orthopaedic, ophthalmic and animal behaviour consultants for more unusual cases.

We have been coming here for years, yesterday my cat got into a fight and got a massive abscess. I rang at 8.15am and got an appointment at 9.30am. the vets are always brilliant as well as all the staff. I thought I was going to have to sell a limb in order to get my cat fixed, but nope all limbs are intact which is a nice change! Cat is slowly on the mend too!

I would recommend this vet practice. We have needed to use this vet twice for our dog in the last few months and we have got great, friendly service from everyone there. Thank you Leopold Vets.

Red some reviews & decided to give it a go and overall a great experience as a first time customer at Leopold Pet Hospital. Ash the vet is very knowledgeable, and professional, and great to deal with, and diagnosed my aging dog with arthritis and pain symptoms accurately and thoroughly. He listened to my concerns and was very empathetic towards my dog and recommended a reasonable course of action. The staff are all very friendly and courteous, even in the face of misunderstandings. In general, costs are at least 10 - 20% cheaper at this practice compared to surrounding local counterparts but do your research on specific issues/medications, however some hidden cost that I neglected to research was a bit of a surprise to me like extended consult cost my fault for chatting too long & script fee which I guess is understandable in the interest of running a viable business. Would highly recommend this practice because of a great vet, friendly staff, and reasonable costs considering the increasing price of vet care these days. Most people's shock in paying for pet care is due to their expectation that it's similar to human health care which is tax payer funded, but it does pay to shop around for great vet services, and I think LPH strikes a good balance in all front. First time at this vet. My cat is usually very scared and often lashes out. This vet took the time to talk to me and ignored my cat for approx 10 mins which gave my cat time to settle and relax before taking the lid off carrier. He was able to give her, her injections without any issues.

I've been taking my dogs to Ash for years. He is a gem. So kind and gentle. Puts the dogs and myself at ease with his actions and words.
