Thought I would try this place as it mostly had good reviews. I got a supreme and it was doughy, didn't taste right, crusts were hard. Got my nan a chicken schnitzel, it was too tough for her, the gravy was far too lumpy.
I am a frequent customer at Leonardo's Pizza House. I ordered a pizza Friday night from this well managed store. The new pizza deliverer showed great service under the Leonardo's name and was friendly at arrival. My order was kept in excellent condition and he deserved a tip on top of his great work
Great pizzas, always hot and fresh and good prices. You'll be hard pressed to find a better pizza shop north of the city.
My usual pick up order.... "Can I get a large house special with anchovies and can you do me a pasta with some penne, chicken and whatever in a cream sauce." There response is "no probs mate, see you in a half hour" and then I pick up an awesome pizza and a big bowl of delicious pasta that last time had bacon, mushrooms, onions, pinenuts, garlic etc aswell. Just Fresh, delicious food and they seem happy to cook you whatever you want it they can.. Five star
Took around 40 minutes for our pizza to be ready. Probably peak time but still longer than other pizza places we've been to during their peak times. The staff were friendly though. The pizza looked like it would be tasty, the crust was crisp and base too. However, beyond that it was unfortunately quite a bland pizza. The sauce they used was as if it had been watered-down, robbing the pizza of having a rich base to build off. I don't know if it was just the lacklustre base, but we all agreed that beyond the crisp texture, it was a boring pizza. I ate most of the pizza and I just wasn't satisfied. Coupled with the long wait, it left for a rather disappointing experience. Based off the previous reviews, maybe we just happened to get a dud ‍‍
Really disappointed. 1.40 minutes to receive to large pizzas and they had hardly any meat. We order a few pizzas every week, we were really disappointed this time overall as it’s been about 6 weeks of progressive long waits.
So we were told the pizza we want only comes in one size, which is odd. On first looks some slices had literally only 3 strands of cheese, the dominant flavour was bread. The first two slices were so bland but after that the flavour built up a little and was decent. I cannot believe how you can say it had cheese when there are a few strands per slice, unbelievable. No way filled out stomachs, a light snack, not light in cost though. Any of the pizza places closer to the city give you way more for the price, I thought if I don't try it I'll never know. Well now I know and obviously won't be trying it again.
