Wow man talk about rude passive aggressive sales assistants!!! I got a top given to me for Christmas by my lovely friend, she had called the store after I had been in to purchase some other items to see what else I had tried on it liked. The sales assistant had totally lied to her and said I tried on a top that was on sale and liked it. I had not tried on the top and did not like it so my friends amazing gift buying scheme did not work out! I mean why lie??? When I went to return the item for something else I was greeted with only RUDENESS and told I could only exchange the item for another size.... after a very long call to management I was told, as if I were a naughty child in trouble, that I could exchange it for another sale item but only the same price. The whole experience left me feeling YUCK! Leonard street I don’t care how nice your stuff is I’m boycotting you! I’ll go down the street to obus instead! They are SOOOOO MUCH LOVELIER!

Discovered Leonard Street on a trip to Melbourne from Sydney in 2016. Couldn't believe my luck. What great clothes! So unique and comfortable. My friends and I spent a long time in the store, trying on all sorts of things (some of it just for fun!) and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and not at all intrusive. I bought a pair of pants for the first time in 15 years – they were so flattering. We ended up with full shopping bags and I've been a regular visitor to their online store since. When I've made inquiries, Amanda has answered me personally and is always prompt and helpful. It's probably a good thing you are not in Sydney or I may go bankrupt :-/
