A SUPERmarket..the place is a delight. Not just the brands we know , but also varieties that others don't stock ... Leo's is an adventure and a delight to shop at..nI always come home happy as opposed to other supermarkets of a Germanic heritage where one comes home a broken soul .
Fantastic grocery with lots of special items you can’t find at Woolworths or Coles. Great service at the checkout.
Food quality is fantastic as well as lots of different gourmet products sold here but the prices are higher than your usual big supermarket chains like Coles & Woolies
As mentioned by other reviewers - I don't mind paying extra for hard-to-find quality products. But, in paying extra I expect amazing service. Today I was searching for a hard to find product, and phoned the also hard to find phone number for Leos. I spoke to someone in Grocery who was helpful, but when I realised they were giving me info for Kew, I asked if they could transfer me to Heidelberg. No, their phones don't have that capability. Ok, no problem, could you tell me the Heidelberg phone number, because it is not listed on the web site. No, I don't know their phone number. Ok bizarre but ok, could you transfer me back to the person who answered the phone, and maybe they know the Heidelberg phone number. No. Hmmm. Ok, if you guys expect me to pay $21.00 for a kilo of GF flour, please make my experience something that doesn't make me want to write a 2 star review.
An amazing range of Australian and lnternational gourmet food. Something for everyone and prices to suit all. I loved walking through each aisle, looking at various items, fascinated by products l never seen or heard of before. It was my first time in Leo's so I could have stayed in there for hours. I spent nearly $100 on a few items which l didn't mind. But what l did mind was the girl who served me couldn't be bothered packing my groceries - she watched me while l packed my own. That would have been ok if there were other customers waiting to be served. But there weren't. Not one. So l was annoyed about that.
