Processed packet cheese in a toastie.. no thanks. Soggy tomato and unevenly buttered toast. Shouldn’t be that hard to make a decent toastie. Chai latte was also very watery with not much chai flavour. The only thing that was somewhat good was the melting moment ordered from the counter jar.
Visited previously 26/10/19 - 11:00 am then revisited today @ Visited on 30/12/19 - 11:00 am Staff are friendly and take time to listen to your order, they work in a diligent and with pleasant mannerisms, this was seen between both visits. The coffee was burnt twice on both visits, Perhaps a pressure coffee press should be considered used with no shoulder downpress to avoid this, The food was good, but nothing exquisite for the price, both times i had a baguette and a desert, Definitely a 3 stars impression on both visits.
Great little cafe in Toombul shopping centre, near K-Mart. Food is always fresh & great flavour combinations. Many items that 'make' the dishes are homemade, for example, the mayonnaise on my bruschetta today. Yum! Service is excellent & very accommodating of my food allergies. Coffee here is delish. I've seen reviews whinging about prices.... I don't know why.... I feel the prices are fair considering the quality of the food, coffee & service. Good work Lemaire's!
Did not enjoy what was on offer. The virus contributes to this, I am sure. Asked to see menu and they told me all they had was in cabinet. Did not look appetizing at all as most of it looked a bit dated! I was starving so had croissant and coffee. I thought this was safedt option.i have had cafes most of my life and I know these are u unusual times but I could definitely do alot better.
Was really disappointed to see that either the wrong time is displayed here and on the Toombul Centre Site or the employee’s decided to shut early. I planned on quickly getting something this Thursday 30/01after getting my nails doneacross from this bistro I watched confused as the coffee machine and front desk food display were covered at 6:15 and by 6:40 the lights were turned off and the two employees left the close time is 7:00. I would think that considering that this is a store that is in a shopping centre that opening and closing times would be adhered too. I understand preparing to close and all but closing 45mins before close is a bit ridiculous. I work in retail and this would never be accepted by my employer and is the reason I write this review.
This place serves average food at an exorbitant price. When I ordered Arancini balls, I received three with few bits of lettuce. I could overlook the price of it tasted nice... but it tasted like a frozen meal from Coles. I will not return to throw my money away, ever again.
Ordered the toast. Pretty easy and was $5.50 so figured it would be at least a couple of slices... or one thick slice.... nope. One very thin slice of what looked like a 90c loaf of bread. That's it. One very thin slice on a large plate. We actually laughed and then realized we paid for it. Never again. What a joke
I love this place, the staff are so friendly and nothing is ever an issue. My children are always made to feel welcome and the food is spectacular. Definitely my favourite spot at Toombul
