Good beach with plenty of parking. The beach also has a big changing room with shower and toilets. Compared to other beaches in Perth, Leighton is one of the calmest there is for family with kids. Very ideal for picnics!

Fabulous beach just north of Fremantle with great expanses of sand and beautiful warm water. Barely anyone around when we were there, and even then there is a lot of space on this beach.

Massive beach with lots of room to settle in with a towel or chair. Lots of sand between the shore and dunes. Has a soft mat that leads from the bitumen to the beach so easier to walk if you have lots of gear.
Beautiful calm beach. Very popular, took me 20-30 minutes to find parking. There are great cafes near by. The sand is pure white, barely any seaweed, and the water is crystal clear. Great for families and even for those who like a deep swim.
Pet friendly beach located near North Freo and Cottesloe! Would definitely give it a go if you'd like to see a group of fur babies having the time of their life
The bathroom and shower room and changing room were perfect. It was so clean . When I visited there , it was too windy so I’m not sure how clear the water . But the atmosphere was so good . I’ll visit there again . It was close from the North Fremantle station. It took about 10 mins by my foot .
