We just had the most divine fish and chips from this shop. The kingfish was fresh and lightly battered, crispy, served with crunchy chips in good old butcher's paper. Served by 2 very friendly ladies. Thank you!
I’m gonna miss this humble fish and chips shop. Worth of waiting for, traveling from Perth to Gero. We always stop here and buy fish and chips every time we go up north, it’s definitely a recommended place they never let us down. Fresh newly caught fish, very moist and not fishy odour. Nice batter and nice chips. Very Friendly staff and homey. We’ve discovered this place when we are stopping at Jurien bay few years ago and asked the local we’re is the best fish and chips around the area. They’ve told us to come here in Leeman. Just bring your own tomato sauce.
The fish was exceptional. Such a light thin batter. The chips were good too. I was actually recommended to try, by a customer that overheard I'd be travelling to Leeman. So there you go, word of mouth from 3.5 hours away. Now that's great fish and chips.
The scallops here are so good! Really big and sweet, definitely get some. We got a fisherman's basket $26, upgraded to Dhufish for $33 and normal $12 fish and chips, the fisherman's basket was more than enough food for two people and the normal fish and chips was too much for one person! It comes with 4x medium fillets of lovely fresh fish. Batter was wonderfully crispy, slightly thick. The chips were just okay, could be crispier and no chicken salt option, but they gave us a lot of chips! There's also a little outdoor area with a couple large tables. Overall definitely recommend! This is a great fish and chip shop with very generous portions, great fish, amazing scallops. They also sell some coleslaw, bread rolls goes great as a DIY fish burger, and what looks like slices of homemade cheesecake! As with all fish and chip places they gouge you on the tomato sauce prices so just bring your own :
Very friendly people and the fish is fresh! Not frozen! Everything was beautifully fried and no old oil smell or taste. One of the best fish and chips I've had in WA. You can get nice brownies here as well.
A warm, friendly hello welcomed us in this cute fish and chip shop. An abundant selection of fish and sides available. I highly recommend the snapper, chips and Shark Bay prawns. Dining is available outside in an enclosed dining room with table and chairs. Exceptionally clean and inviting, though the ocean is just down the road with picnic area. Will definitely be back!
Normally we do as far as Jurien bay have fish "N" chips and head off home. This time we skipped the Mt Lesueur summit hike and decided to do some sight seeing. leeman is a beautiful place and decided to try the local Leeman Fish and Chips. Well worth the drive, best chips i have ever had at a chippie hands down. Both my wife and i both went for the Snapper with chips, she prefers grilled i prefer battered. The fish was so fresh not over cooked and so moist puts the Perth based chippies to shame, just goes to prove fresh is best. Photographs do not do it justice, just like the terminator " ill be Back" , well worth the drive, great friendly and easy to talk to staff. Reasonably priced, well presented small town.
Food was OK, but I was disappointed by what I got for the money spent. My pink Snapper was $17 grilled and pretty small. $20 with chips - check pictures. And sauces were extra!

Enjoyed every bite of my red throat emperor. Discovered this place by accident one day a few years ago and I’ve yet to have fish and chips this good anywhere else.
