Such a delicious little bakery - I can see why people come specifically to Creswick to eat here! They have absolutely delicious French pastries and other cakes, it was difficult to choose what to order, however the lovely person who served me helpfully gave recommendations. Their croissants and other pastries are delicious, I don't know if they're authentically French but they were light and buttery and flaky all at once. The coffee was great too, I appreciate a country town bakery that offers good soy milk. They had a small selection of French pantry items as well; mustard, vinegar, salt etc, along with some coffee paraphernalia. There aren't heaps of seats but the customer turnover for dining in is very fast so you won't have to wait long for a seat!
Two visits in two days. Date / time of visit: 7 February 2023 @ 1:20pm Date / time of visit: 8 February 2023 @ 2:30pm Beautiful French bakery. Beautiful food. Lovely location. This was a very nice surprise on our drive through Creswick. We saw the name and decided to stop. So glad we did. We liked it so much we went back the next day. Cakes and breads baked in store. Great quality. Great taste.
What a delight, we sat outside very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed a chocolate eclair and an escargot. Superb coffee and cheerful service added to a memorable visit. Definitely a great place to stop in Creswick. Also we took home a baguette that was delicious and authentic.
An incredibly beautiful patisserie and worthy of a drive to Creswick just to experience it. We've been visiting for a few years now and it's always a wow, as you can see from our pics. Just exquisite and so worth a visit
Nice sourdough bread and pretty good eclair and Danish too, a bit pricy tho.
Dreadful Experience in Lovely Creswick I actually had my $6.50 for coffee it cost $7.20 btw shoved back at me after spending over $70 for lunch, saying their soy milk doesn’t froth for extra froth and I should get my coffee elsewhere! I only wanted what I ordered and paid for. No one said it wasn’t possible when I ordered. No one in the 4 countries I’ve lived in, the 5 Aussie States/territories I’ve worked in, the 18 countries I’ve visited, has EVER been so rude. When I said I’d prefer to have all my money back and go elsewhere for the whole meal, she ignored me. I politely pointed out that i had had the same coffee just the day before there and in the shop next door as well, where it was delicious, and it wasn’t a problem just supporting local business, the owner said they shouldn’t have done it and she would tell her staff off! Yikes The food wasn’t THAT special enough to be treated like that! The shop next door has lovely owners. Go there - anywhere - instead. And after you’ve had lunch, go to The Farmer’s Wife shop for something beautiful. I did. It cheered me up.
I absolutely loved this place, not much in the way of gluten free but the macarons were great. My husband loved it as well. You can walk past this place and not know that you are here as there isn’t any signage unless you are across the road.
What a lovely place, great service, food and drinks. We’ve been back 3 times now, love the new venue!
Absolutely fabulous food, kind staff and a worthwhile stop for coffee and pastries
Wanna be boutique coffee shop. Expensive snd the coffees aren't the best. Surely there's a better coffee shop in Creswick somewhere else
