Welcome to Le Coq, the first French Healthy Rotisserie in Sydney.

Le Coq is based in Rozelle. We serve succulent Roast Chicken, Duck, Healthy salads and classic side dishes – available for Dine in or Takeaway!

Story

Our poultry is sourced from Holmbrae Farm in Bannaby and the duck is from the NSW Southern Highlands Region with our Premium grade Prime Rib from the Riverina Southern Region of NSW.
The chicken is marinated for 24 hours in our secret recipe of herbs and spices, served with a choice of delicious side dishes such as potatoes roasted in chicken dripping or truffle mac & cheese . Alternatively, choose from our salads for a healthy option as a light side..

Nice vibe, friendly service and delicious food, can’t ask for more! We got the escargot, the liver parfait, half roast chicken with mushroom sauce and mac and cheese.  Everything was divine! Especially the liver parfait and the chicken. The chicken was very tender, juicy and full of flavours. Will definitely be back.

Very enjoyable atmosphere with indoors and outdoors tables. Everyone loved the chicken Provencal, the crispy duck,  the pork belly and the kipfler potatoes. Desserts were great too.

had the most lovely dinner here with my friend last night. the staff was welcoming and incredibly friendly. food was off the charts, affordable for such high class food. will definitely be coming back! the crispy duck was the star of the show :

I would give these guys 6 stars if I could. They were perfect in everything.  I came here on Valentines day. My gf wore a nice dress. The atmosphere or as people say, vibe was perfect for a romantic dinner. Its not a modern feel - it is a thoughtful and cozy with wooden floors and decor.  Food was delicious as well. It was a set menu where i had roasted ribs / potatoes / Brussel sprouts for mains and this tangy flavoured kingfish for dessert. It was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS.  Now I have emetophobia fear of vomiting so i eat very very little as fullness gives me panic attacks. But this meal was so delicious i went a little overboard. So I in fact had a panic attack in the restaurant so had to deep breath for about 30 minutes.  Anyway, point is, it is very delicious and visually awesome food.  Staff were so accommodating as well. Im a bit of a difficult customer not rude but asking certain things in a certain way but they were so kind at all times.  Great value for money too. Definitely going to come back within the next month to eat their regular menu.

Braving the wilds of Rozelle for Le Coq might sound like the start of a great anecdote, and guess what? It is. The atmosphere, welcoming staff, French country cooking and superb wine list are all to die for. No need to treck to rural France searching for that Michelin gem outside Arles; Le Coq is delivering an equal experience right here. We’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for ages and now it’s going to be a regular fave.

Great meal, lovely escargot and souffle to start, then blue steak with ratatouille and mash, followed by petit fours. The cab merlot from Bordeaux went perfectly with it all. Highly recommend for an intimate meal or group party.

We had the best time my friend Mabel not only we getting more then enough food, my puppy Lyca  also got kidney treats! Enjoying the ambiance so much and lovely service. One of my favourite restaurant for sure in Sydney!Recommended dishesGlass of Wine, Smoked Crispy Duck a Lorange

Ordered 1/2 chicken, kipfler potatoes and ratatouille, with the chocolate fondant for desert.  It was a wholesome meal, like home cooked.  A little salty for my taste but good quality food

French food in Rozelle. Staff where exceptionally good for our large group. Food was good, restaurant is clean and staff is attentive. Ticks all the boxes.

The food is perfect, moist chicken amazing cauliflower gratin, food is great ambiance lovely. Skip sparkling water awful, tasted dirty no sparkle,  as I am diabetic I drink lots if sparkling water perrier us the champagne of diabetic and the fad for putting water on tap should be banned.
