I have walked past this restaurant many times; the delicious smells were mouth-watering but because of the back street location I never went in, thinking it might be second rate. Boy was I mistaken. Lazeez's food is top notch. Decor? Basic but that is sort of irrelevant. Views? Parking lot, also irrelevant for the fine quality food. Food looks much like any other Indian's but just tastes better. Excellent value for money too. My wife & I ate for $32! Place was empty besides us. Lazeez gets my top recommendation.

The service was great as we were the only guests in the restaurant. 

The Vindaloo Lamb was fine but a bit too salty.

The Mango chicken was very nice but a bit spicier than expected.
The Samosas were excellent as previously reported by others.

Our rice was totally gluggy and over cooked. We couldn't finish the rice. To me it looked like rice that was kept warm from lunch time until dinner.

From the other reports I had high expectations and they were not met during this visit.
