In 2009 we paid Mike from Lawn and Turf over $2700 to prepare and area and sow grass seed for a lawn over part of our lifestyle block at Tamahere. When the grass did come up it was yellow and pretty thin, indicating lack of fertilizer and seed. By the end of the first summer the “grass” had struggled with plenty of gaps and summer weeds (paspalum) were rampant and with each ensuing year these weeds have now taken over the entire area he sowed. We did a rough trial of re-sowing two small areas and these are the only decent grass areas in the middle of Mike’s sea of paspalum. I not sure what Mike did, but $2700 is well and truly wasted. I asked Mike for a response on this and was ignored so hence this review.
