I was very disappointed with my recent stay at the Latrobe Motel in Morwell. The room was in extremely poor condition and requires serious maintenance. There were several issues, including broken and torn curtains, a broken toilet seat, cracked bathroom tiles, and even a spider in the room. These problems made the stay very uncomfortable and well below an acceptable standard for paid accommodation. Given the condition of the room, I believe a refund is reasonable and request that my payment be reimbursed. Please let me know how this refund can be processed. I have several photos available to support my complaint if needed.
After a year and a bit of staying at Always Welcome... I discovered this place. No offence to the old place, but this is paradise. Though the management of each place are delightful. Latrobe Motel is a great, affordable place especially when you're homeless, but can pay, to have a hot shower and a comfortable bed at a reasonable price.
Could not recommend. Draughty room because of holes. Very cold. Shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold. Fridge had been turned off and was seeping water. The room smelled of mould.
Located close to train station and main shopping area.nBasic necessities and comfortable rooms.nWould stay here again
Nice, quiet, clean place. Little dated but in a good location and good value for money.
