Extremely disappointed by Dr Lim. I went to see him after watching his YouTube videos as he seemed knowledgeable and nice. Unfortunately, he was not at all like in his videos : he was very cold, seemed totally uninterested, barely looked up from his paper, in less than a 5 minute very expensive consultation. Don’t go see him for minor issues: I wished there would be a disclaimer on his website explaining he has no interest in them to save us time, money and disappointment.

Very disappointed how I was treated by Dr Lim. Not the procedure itself but the bedside manner. He is not interested in helping anyone who would have what is considered a 'minor' issue to him, and he forgets that what is minor to him is not minor to a that person. Took upon himself to diagnose me with BDD after 15 minutes interaction with him and without knowing anything about me. Cruel. Every woman who goes to his clinic must have BDD then. Makes me wonder why become a cosmetic doctor. My GP said they never refer patients to him for this every reason bedside manner and big ego - I only wish I had seen my GP beforehand for their opinion. I would not recommend Dr Lim to anyone.

Hi Davin, I am Nico, writing you from Argentina. I am seriously considering flying from Argentina-&gt;Brisbane to have a consultation with you to treat my acne scarring. Dermatologists here are not good and i've been losing my time and money without getting my problem solved. I do believe in you to treat my case based on all the positive feedback you have. Not sure how severe is my case and also because i know that this kind of things require some time. I got 3 hypertrophic scars in one of my cheeks that didn't improve after 3 pico sessions + 1vbeam laser. They look like pimples but they aren't. Is possible to send you some pictures to give me any idea of how much time you think i will have to consider staying there?  Thanks in advance, hope to meet you soon.

With out a doubt the best dermatologist I have seen. I went to David for acne scar treatment and have been blown away by the level of service he provides. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had subcision and CO2 laser, the recovery was smooth and the results were significant. I have been to other dermatologists for the same issues and had next to no results. Thanks David and team your doing great work.

I would recommend Davin to anyone who has acne/acne scars! I have seen countless doctors/dermatologists/aestheticians over the years for my acne scars, and Davin is the best of the best. No one has helped my skin like Davin has. He's the only doctor who has made actual noticeable improvements to my acne scars, and they were drastic improvements at that! Went to his clinic in 2019 as an out-of-town patient and was treated upon consultation. He really knows his stuff so your skin will be in the best hands.

Dr Lim is a very professional, honest and friendly dermatologist. He carefully evaluated my acne scares and explained what treatments suitable for me the most during the consultation. Most importantly he truly prioritises patient’s outcomes and benefits over revenue. The only regret is I didn't get a chance to thank him for seeing me and make time for my procedure. Although travelling all the way from Canberra to Brisbane during the Pandemic is super hard and risky, it is definitely worth it! I had c02 laser & cortisone injections for a scar on my face today I already see a difference. Dr Lim was professional & I am confident in his experience & knowledge he listened to my concerns & gave me multiple options he has given me hope & I know whichever decision he makes will be the best possible outcome for me. You will not be disappointed & he will gladly answer questions or any concerns you have. Easy going & down to earth approach I went in anxious he put me at ease during the consult. Hi Dr Davin Lim Thank you for such awesome YouTube videos. One that really appealed to me was the subcision and filler /laser video. My wedding is coming up in December and I do have acne scarring I want to improve on. I am currently seeing a dermatologist at Sydney skin hospital but I really want to get there  Hybrid co2 laser done. I think they only offer fraxel. Is there a place in Sydney that offers hybrid co2 laser? I've searched Google and only places in Brisbane offer it. Much appreciated!

Hi Dr Lim, I think I am so lucky because I am doing my PhD in Brisbane! The acne scarring has been bothered my a lot since I was 17, I never thought there will be a person who can exactly help me to deal with this issue like you. I am currently taking isotretinoin as my dermatologist required. when the treatment for acne is done, I really hope I can consult with you and your staff to talk about how to improve my acne scars! Hi Dr Lim, I always love to watch your videos. Nor that I've ever come to your clinic. So I wanted to ask few questions.firstly, I've a lot of acne scars but most of them are minor rolling and box typed scars which some can only be seen with angled lightning, what kind of treatment do you suggest I've to do ?. Secondly, is there any home remedies or things that I could do on my ownmaybe diet or workout that can make the scar looks better ?. And finally, I lived in Penang Malaysia do you have any suggestions of any doctor that is the closest to me ?. Thank you, sincerely
