Really frustrating. Based on the positive reviews of the place, I took my laptop in for the usual yearly cleaning of the fans and coolant. In addition to not having respected the deadline for which the computer was supposed to be ready, when the aforementioned computer was withdrawn the monitor was no longer functional. Asking for an explanation why it no longer worked, I was told that it hadn't worked since before starting the cleaning. I didn't even received a call from them saying that my computer was not working from the beginning. No guarantee of their work, no clause of their wrong doing. Left the shop disappointed and now with a broken computer, which was completely working before. Responding to the message: The shop didn't even call informing us that the computer was not working. Instead they cleaned it and ONLY after they informed us. Is easy to think that they did something wrong during the process and blame it on us.
My Brother printer was damaged and I was advised by Brother that Technotronics is an approved service centre. So I brought my printer for a quote with the explicit request to include everything which might need to be repaired/replaced. The quote was already so that I went ahead but after the repair, the printer was still not working correctly and made even stranger noises than before. When I asked Technotronics to address this, I was told in an extremely rude way that this wasn't their fault and that I need another paid repair which would be double the price of the first. So I spend $200 to get my printer more damaged ... never again. Regarding the comment of Technotronics - which clearly shows again that they refuse to take any responsibility for their work and promises: Yes, I was advised that the generic toner does not line up, so I replaced it with an original Brother toner cartridge from OfficeWorks which I already had at home. However when I then printed, I realised the misalignment of the colour. The re-calibration of the printer did not help, so I contacted Technotronics again to hear that the drum has to be replaced: Wow!! I asked for a quote for a complete repair: whatever may be damaged. This means you didn't realise the damaged drum or why didn't you quote for its repair? As I didn't use the printer after the so called repair with a generic toner, the damage can't have occurred afterwards. I wrote the review 5 months later because a friend suggested to leave a review on Google when I explained her that my colour printer cannot print clear colours anymore since it was repaired by Technotronics. And I'm pretty sure that strange noises the printer makes since the repair when it prints doublesided are also because of the generic toner which isn't used anymore.
How good to get helpful personal service with my Canon printer which wouldn’t power on. A new cable and 24 hours rest and printer going again. And lots of information on changing to an inkjet from the ink guzzling lasers. Great team effort Chris and Alex.
I ordered a scanner that was out of stock. Communication was so quick and easy. I was advised if it didn't arrive on time, I could get a full refund. There were additional delays, advised all along. Eventually I managed to make other arrangements and cancelled my order. Refund was immediately processed. Although it didn't work out for me this time, it is rare to find such service and communication from a company. I would most definitely order from them again when I need other equipment. Thanks for the service!
I found Technotronics on the web and I'm glad I did. I went in to their store to buy a printer that I thought I wanted and Alex in store spent over 30 minutes with me answering every question one could ever ask. She knew everything about the products! The customer service is amazing. These people are seriously good at what they do and the customer service second to none! I came home with an EPSON inkjet printer that seems amazing compared to my poor old laser that it replaced. I will spend my money at this store and will not go anywhere else. Have been using technotronics for many years to supply and service our printers. Excellent problem solving real world professional advice that helped us choose the right printers for our older operating systems and with the features we needed. Their ability to service and repair on site saved us the last week when one of our newish printers had a weird solenoid fault and they had the part n stock and had it back up and running within 4 hours. Very nice people to work with- highly recommended.
Don't usually write reviews but I would highly recommend Technotronics Business Systems if you are looking to repair your printer. My printer that I had bought from Harvey Norman after the salesperson insisted that it was the most suitable for me, stopped working right after its 2-year warranty ended. After bringing it to Harvey Norman and having it assessed there, the issue was not clearly identified, I was then being transferred through multiple phone calls. Although the issue with my printer was minor, when I brought it to Technotronics Business Systems, I think the lady called Alex*? and the guy called Rob*? was incredibly friendly and demonstrated their professionalism, knowledge and experience as they was able to identify the issue with my printer before even assessing it , let alone even touching my printer! The cost was reasonable and now my printer works just as new!
Alexandra pleasn't and helpfull helped me find a Brother laser printer rang me about 10am and i had it shipped to Umina Beach by 9.30 am following morning. A breath of fresh air company that did what they say they would defenetly deal again.
Needed a Canon printer head. Found TBS on the web, rang this morning, spoke to Rob, item in stock, ordered and paid, Rob rang me back 10 minures to confirm ready for pickup, organised UBER to collect and item is on it's way to me. Less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Now THAT is SERVICE! Sorry make that "FN AWESOME SERVICE!" Will definately be using TBS again and happy to recommend!
