Re-done post as my first post wasn't a good spill about the Lanyon marketplace, and it is not a bad place to do your shopping or to grab a feed or gifts!nnLanyon marketplace was open to the public late in 1997 over time, travelling past the area, I've watched it grow from paddocks to what we see today!nnOne of my first experiences near the Lanyon marketplace a few years before they opened its doors to the public was a car accident just near the big roundabout...nsee picture of carnnIn my first post, I talked about the carparking of most, there is only two entrances off Tharwa Dr, the one near McDonald's is poorly designed the other is okay off Box Hill Av, the carpark itself has only gotten worse because of Hungry Jacks moving into the area, which is great as I love good food options but the carparking is hell for now!nnThe Lanyon marketplace has a handful of different stores available from good food to a nicnac store along with a post office, pharmacy, newsagents, bakery, butchers, hairdressers, coffee shop, and of course Woolworths with BWS, the interesting thing about Woolworths it was going to be built on Knoke Av Gordon!nnAt the Lanyon marketplace, you won't be disappointed if you're hungry, as the different food options are quite good now inside and outside the building! There's a small playground for the kids, which has a fence around it for the safety of the road...nnThe marketplace has great seating both in & and outside, and it is always very clean throughout, You can also find ATMs and toilet facilities inside the building...
5 stars is for the Woolworths self checkout.They have installed a whole row of cash excepting machines.
Nice little shopping centre for essentials and a quick takeaway had the fish and chips not bad and freshly cooked
Has all your basic shops and take aways. Easy to get everything you need in one place.
Really good local shopping center. Everything you need and more. Also good business around the shopping center.
