The park is walking distance from the hotel where we stayed Novotel. Great place for a morning walk with jogging path along the borders of the Swan river that extends all the way to Elizabeth Quay. Great place to catch the morning breeze and the sunrise reflected off the buildings across the river.
We were there for MERC2021. Finding parking is always an issue but the event was a great success. Being along the river means you get a good breeze and the large open grassy areas are good for lots of activities and kids running around.
Very Beautiful view and so much relaxation just to sit and look out. Really nice to sit at evening and feel the Cool Breezes from the side
The new style sky show was a great combination of fireworks and lightshow. The only downfalls city of Perth did not advise residents of the road closures as they did for Xmas pagent very slack. Secondly the tacky advert at the end of the light show, there's other ways to tell the audience who paid for it.
Beautiful place to go and take a walk or sit down and have a picnic lunch. They have public toilets and BBQ for the public to use. Beautiful playground for the kids. Water for the dogs. Beautiful views of Perth City. Can't wait to go back

I was there for the Australia Day light show. What a scenery. The park was huge with good walking space too enjoy the breeze around the river.

Oktoberfest was AMAZING!!! Great spot to have it, Loved the surrounding views of the city at night Restrooms: The set up was great, Bathrooms everywhere. No toilet paper though
