Hadn’t been for a few years, the deck is still great for a drink or meal, our meals were good, the roast of the day:- lamb was a huge size of meat, lovey roast potatoes and greens. My friend had the chicken schnitzel and enjoyed hers. We were there in a Wednesday which wasn’t so busy, Landsborough is a busy little town so if you go on a weekend go early enough to get a park and a coffee at the numerous coffee shops and bakeries.
Was somewhat disappointed. Have had some great pub meals over the years. This wasn’t one of them. Roast lamb was dry with chewy edges. The vegetables were few and looked uninspiring, and the burger we ordered lacked life. In my opinion they failed in their mission statement see attached image. Was it awful? No, it was just flat, dull, and not done as well as it could be. Would we come back? No.
After a fun day at Australia Zoo, we stopped by the Landsborough Pub for an early dinner, and it was a fantastic choice! We ordered the Meat Lovers' chicken schnitzel, a chicken parmy, a 250g rump steak, and the Butcher's Block pizza. Each dish was delicious and perfectly cooked.nnThe schnitzel and parmy were crispy and flavorful, the steak was tender and cooked just right, and the pizza was loaded with tasty toppings. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive.nnOverall, a great dining experience at the Landsborough Pub – highly recommended!
What a gem! This authentic old style pub has a unique charm and an incredible menu, with everything from calamari, to roasts and pizzas, to hot pots and daily specials. We had the pork knuckle with sauerkraut and apple and it was one of the best German meals we’ve ever had outside of Germany. The calamari was also incredibly tasty and full of flavour. Plus, the deck is absolutely gorgeous to sit outside on and enjoy the sunny weather!
Met up with family for lunch. Friendly staff and the food was excellent. The kids loved the free activity packs and ice cream.nVery enjoyable afternoon in a lovely pub.
