I walked in and was greeted immediately with a friendly smile. A staff member helped me to a machine, and I was able to pay by card and receive change in return. The large machine cost $10 total - $8 for the wash and $2 for detergent. The smaller machines are $5. Allow about $10 to dry a large load. My bag broke and they gave me one of theirs for free. There’s a big comfy couch to sit on, or else there’s a little shopping centre nearby. There is a big, plastic covered table for sorting. I concur with those who say this is an excellent laundromat.

Clean, professional and efficient machines. You can wait on the comfy lounges and have a coffee or wander to the local cafes. The service was fantastic. LaLa’s has to be one of the best laundry’s I’ve ever been to.

By far the best laundromat in all of Tasmania if not Australia wide. If you want clean and powerful machines backed by helpful, kind service that’s always available and standing by to assist don’t consider any other laundry. 6/5 stars! They even helped remove stains from my favourite white linen shirt that couldn’t be removed with bleach!
